How am I going to remember this season?
Easy.
October. Berlin, Germany. The harrowing car ride in which we had to go off our tourist maps into east Berlin to get to the only bar I could find that carried the game. Many drinks with my cousin and friend. Running (way intoxicated) to get doners & fries at halftime. Eagles beating Dallas. Teaching Germans about 'The Shocker'.

The season of my "mid-life retirement" was fun, BUT I really enjoyed the Eagles this year, the good and the bad. I for one had kind of become used to the winning ways to the point that I spent more time watching college ball than pro... McNabb's injury and the balance of the season injected the drama back into the game, not the off field crap but the game itself... I kept feeling reminded of the year of the 3 headed monster and why it was fun to watch??? because it was surprising it was before Reid thought HE was going to change football into a pass only game... I just hope Marty and Jim J don't let him forget balance makes the entire team look better...
so that's how I'll remember this season, well that and the year of the foursome(just to be clear it was three women and me)
So I will always cherish this season...

I'll remember it for Jeff Garcia, Westbrook's coming out party, and Reid handing off the play-calling duties.
If the offense stays balanced from here on out and they win it all, this season will end up being the one that turned it all around.

I think of it as a return from purgatory. Last year was abysmal, but I thought this year that even with McNabb and Westbrook returning, and Stallworth being signed, the Eagles had fallen back to the NFC pack. And this may still be the case, but with a second-string QB they came within 4 points of their fifth NFCCG in six years.

I'll remember being strip searched in a German airport, after catching the red-eye after the Titans game.
That and the look on the faces of the guys in my tailgate as I walked up. None of them knew I was coming.
