Thought I'd drop in and say hello.
Your teams owners have just invested in our football (It's called football here, not soccer) club in sunny south London. Any info about them would be welcomed, seeing as we're almost related.

Jeffrey Lurie supporting another worthy feminist cause: English soccer.

It's called soccer here, not football...... because it's so gay

Ahhhh, welcome to the Gold Standard.

First of all get used to a lot of talk about championships, cups or whatever you guys covet in your footie sport. Also get familiar with the concept of being net ahead.

And you can forget about bringing any hoagies or sandwiches (or "breaded meat holders" whatever you guys call them over there) into the stadium from now on too.

Lastly, get used to coming close to winning it all year after year.

Cheers!

Thank you Johnson & Notorious.

Pendeldum, Football, The Beautiful Game or working-class ballet as we know it here. A game of skill played with the feet, unlike your sport 'Lets see how far I can throw this odd shaped ball before everyone runs around shouting,' not exactly perpetual motion is it?. We call American football Rugby here, It lasts 80 minutes not 3 weeks, has 15-a-side not 237 and they don't wear all that armour-like protection that the women that play your game wear. Tosser

No Offence to you other lads.

Well I live in Australia, and I can tell you firsthand - Rugby is as dull as soccer is gay. Actually, you said it best when you compared it to ballet.

And don't even get me started on cricket and lawn bowling. Go drink your tea

Typical aussie, one finger up his ar5e and the other hand holding a beer.

with a name like pendulam it sounds like your the one that swings from one to another, two posts and they both mention the word gay, take your wifes dress off, take yer finger out of your ar5e and concentrate, you may learn something.

Alright boys,
Although the name might suggest otherwise I happen to be working in Philly and have a lot of respect for their team and fans.
HOWEVER, Do Not mistake kindness for weakness. If you don't know anything about MILLWALL or S London shut the F_CK UP.
Then we find out that pendulum lives in Aus, WANKER

When Millwall opens 'training camp' expect to walk through a tent selling team merchandise before you get to the field.

Other things to look for;

- your logo on every conceivable piece of merchandise

- dead mackerel hand shakes

- some nerdy New Englander to control your £££s

- a Coaching philosophy that doesn't fit your personnel

- event & security staff from Scotland

- new colors

- an abolishment of team history

&

- coming within a whisker of actually winning the Premiership

Abolishment? You aren't the President in disguise are you mate?
Staff from Scotland not a problem here. We have Scottish origins/links. The blue and white came from the Sweaty flag. No fucking chance of changing that, ever. Thanks for the dire warnings though.

"During a game between Millwall and Huddersfield Town, The Observer reported that a Huddersfield Town fan had thrown a coin at a linesman, and that some Millwall fans had intervened, and handed the culprit over to police. The News of the World, however, bore the headline: "Millwall Thugs Deck Linesman With Concrete". These, and many other similar incidents, gave rise to the Millwall fans' famous song; "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care," being sung in defiant defence of themselves, and their team."

Lads - A pointer from here in the colonies - throw dead batteries, not money. Money can be used for alcohol.

Concrete would be a nice touch though.

And almost winning the Premiership would be a godsend as Millwall is middle of the table in League One (two steps below the Prem.)

Tattoo, I asked a question in the first post, that's why.

remember' we are now almost related,

your team must now run out to the tune of 'let 'em come', you supporters (not 'fans'. 'fans' sit on there arse at home and never go to games, we have plenty of them, believe me)must sing 'No-one likes us' during the game, your club slogan must be changed to ,'Forget nothing,Forgive no-one' The legend continues.....'
In addition, your supporters will no longer be known as passionate about your team, you will be known from now on as 'Thugs and hooligans'
you will also become the pariahs of American football.
Don't worry, you get used to it after a while.

PS any chance you could Drop the eagles moniker and replace it with Lions?

My apologies to the normal patrons of this board for encouraging the flood of boring Englishmen. Having travelled plenty outside the US for work, let me tell ya - there is NOTHING more nauseating then a condescending lecture about why soccer is "the beautiful game". And before I was finally granted exile from Europe to AUS, I heard it about 4,000 times.

We Americans get lots wrong, but I'm convinced we're right about one thing:

SOCCER
IS
FOR
HOMOS

PS I'm hardly in a position to defend Australia against anyone, as I'm basically just a visitor here, but I'll say this much:

At least most of the women have a full set of teeth here.

Not that you soccer queers probably care one way or another

With Pendelum here on the Soccer Snobs.

My kid plays soccer- and they don't even keep frickin Score! Ok, so its instructional I suppose but the kids are 12!!!

So Im keeping score on my own and these soccer moms start tellin me that its bad for the other teams kids to hear me cheering and keepin score cos its bad for their self esteem. WTF?!!?!?

This is the attitude that surrounds soccer- this everyone's a winner crap and BOY are those moms against Football. I told 1 lady what I THOUGHT was a compliment- "Youre kid oughtta been playin Football" and she gives me this schpiel about aggressive behavior , pain, hurting themselves, barbarism etc.

Are you effin kiddin me?

Soccer= STOOOOOPID.
