Good Grief, this Millwall squad is TERRIBLE. I guess it's no coincidence that they call themselves the "Lions". Nothing like a bunch of Detroit Lions fans running around being all vulgar and violent over their team. Super.

Looks to me that they are essentially a minor league team, that, when moved up a Division, got their asses handed to them.
But I am sure some of the Blokes could provide the details better than I can.

I just do not understand all of these homophobic messages, and the reference's to gays, homos, fagots and queens, it's a well know fact that over 20% of us Philidelphians are openly gay and I'm sure there are more than just me on this messageboard who are members of the 12th Air Command.
Pendulum twinkie, do you swing both ways?
So c'mon guys why cant we stretch out a warm Eagles hand to our British Cousins.
And remember...
Fly, Eagles fly, on the road to victory!
Fight, Eagles, fight, score a touchdown one-two-three!
Hit 'em low, hit 'em high,
And watch our Eagles fly!
Fly, Eagles fly, on the road to victory!
E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!!
Go Eagles Go

The irony of homophobia on a Philly messageboard is not lost on everyone. I love listening to gay bashing coming from the city with the 2nd most active gay community in the hemisphere. For a while, the Philly gay community was more active than San Francisco's.
But calling something "gay" is not necessarily always aimed at the gay community. It just means that you don't like it. Most of us have been saying that since we were in middle school before we even knew what gay meant.

What's the homosexual community like in Dallas?
The reason I'm asking is I'm curious how TO, having lived in San Francisco and then Philadelphia, is adjusting.

SAS and SBS best special forces in the world and even the usa have used them because of the experience rather then use your own special forces. so i dont think your win that one.
You can’t be serious. Not only does the US draw from a larger pool of potential candidates, the US draws from a better pool of candidates. While the average Brit doesn’t have familiarity with weapons at an early age, the Us has far greater civil liberty when it comes to gun ownership, hunting, etc. In addition, the US Special Operations Forces shows a greater variety of specialties.
You can break it down any way you want. You can look at the pool of potential candidates, the money spent on development and training, the results of operations. Ass much as the detractors like to throw Somalia at the US, it shows that they greatly misunderstand the operation and the outcome. They accomplished the mission (the snatch and grab) and, when things went awry (as they always do), they improvised immediately and battled overwhelming numbers. The end result was death and injury to the overwhelming numbers totaling over 1,000 with significantly less US casualties. The US got the black eye from Somalis, not because of that operation, but because we did not suitably retaliate. That is a political error, not a military one.
Fast forward to Afghanistan. Our special ops improvised again to combine the cutting edge technology with, well, horseback riding, to accomplish the missions.
I don’t knock Brit special ops. I think they’re fantastic and a credit to their people. However, in raw numbers, tactics, training, and effectiveness, there’s just no comparison.
air to air our guys do all the low level bombing and air to air because the AAF wont do it as they are not trained to fly at the levels our boys do.
Again, this is simply untrue. While the US does a good deal of high level bombing (Kosovo, for example, was done completely above 10,000 ft), it also does a great deal of close air support (CAS). The Marines, especially, make the best use of CAS. I think you also don’t include rotary wing CAS, which is instrumental in the Air-Land battle doctrine.
dont even mention the stealth bomber because guess who invented the radar to pick it up.... yep we did and much to the displeasure of the whitehouse its in operation.
The stealth bomber/fighter are not “invisible” to radar. They simply have a small radar cross section. Thus, it was always detectable. It’s a matter of creating the smallest cross section to avoid detection. Thus, nothing was “invented” to detect it.
ground troops you have numbers but look how many blue on blues your army has.
The US military always takes the lead in the most hostile areas. For good or bad, the Brits have been primarily in the south of Iraq, where the population is more homogenous and there is less al Qaeda activity. It is reasonable to expect more violence and mistakes if the situation is more heated, isn’t it?
tanks the challenger 2 tank is the most advanced tank in the world and would pin a abram to floor.
I’ve never seen a side by side study. I wonder if you have or if this is your impression based on a documentary. Either way, a weapon is only as good as the person using it.
your boys have a repatation for rushing in which can be there downfall. i also know a british para who put 6 us marines on the deck on his own in germany the rest left the bar they was in before it got out of hand.
While I’m inclined to call “Bullshit,” I will allow for a sober guy being able to knock around piss-drunk people. But you’re deluding yourself in the same way your compatriots charge Americans with delusion. The “one man whips everyone” delusion. Fair enough?

We will all make a case for our own.
What fucks me off is the American attitude about making sure those at home think they're the best.
Wouldn't you boys be pissed when this happens;
popov 35: 4 flat bed trucks down there lets get them
popov 36; You sure there not tanks and arn't they orange allied flags on the front of them.
popov 35 ; no don't think so they look like missile launchers on flat bed trucks with big orange tips on the missiles, going in.
fucking big orange tips on the missiles, thick cunt, because the Iraqies always use them so they can't be spotted.
Ok mistakes are made but as i said its the American attitude of nobody must know. Your military told the dead guys family and the coroner that no film was taken of it, 18 mths later someone over there sold it to one of our newspapers, hey presto a cock up.
Turns out the redneck popov 35 gets a promotion and sent on his way, and lets face mistakes NO neglegence YES. We even got to see when the news broke over there after 2 yrs they even edited the cockpit video so it didn't look as inept as it was. Watch the whole episode of the two vids i posted earlier in this thread and tell me he wasn't a prick.
Thats why around the world, think about it, what real friends you got that dont take your money, Oh yeah Israel LOL

Being "friends" with the world isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Sometimes, you have to do what is right and not what's popular.
