Det - win
NYG - loss
NYJ - win
CHI - loss
MIN - loss
DAL - loss
WAS - win
MIA - win
NE - loss
SEA - loss
NYG - win
DAL - win

BUF - win
9-7 and a wild card birth

It's called a PREDICATION thread, numbnuts! HOW DARE YOU BREAK FROM TRADITION?!?!
(Figured I'd save the Secret Police the trouble on pointing that out)
My predication is for 8-8. McNabb isn't ready early in the season, Feeley fails miserably, and they get killed by the tough games late in the year.

Sun., Sept. 9 @ Green Bay 1 p.m. (L)

Sun., Sept. 30 @ Giants 8:15 p.m. (L)
On the road, before the bye. They will inexplicably find a way to lose this game.
Sun., Oct. 7 Bye
Sun., Oct. 14 @ Jets 1 p.m. (W)
Sun., Oct. 21 Chicago 4:15 p.m. (W)
Sun., Oct. 28 @ Minnesota 1 p.m. (L)
Childress shows his old boss how play calling is done. Mcmullen catches two TD's
Sun., Nov. 4 Dallas 8:15 p.m. (W)
Sun., Nov. 11 @ Washington 1 p.m. (W)
Sun., Nov. 18 Miami 1 p.m. (W)
Sun., Nov. 25 @ New England 8:15 p.m. (L)
Sun., Dec. 2 Seattle 1 p.m. (W)
Sun., Dec. 9 Giants 1 p.m. (W)
Sun., Dec. 16 @ Dallas 4:15 p.m. (L)
Sun., Dec. 23 @ New Orleans 1 p.m. (W)
Will win this game just to frustrate Eagle fans.
Sun., Dec. 30 Buffalo 1 p.m. (W)
Spikes causes havoc againest his old team
10-6 Win the division, who knows from there.

Not complaining, but this is like the third prediction I've seen that has the Jets as the first loss.
Isn't Reid 8-0 after the bye? The Jets are almost bound to fall off this year. What am I missing?
I would think the Giants game BEFORE the bye to be a more likely loss.

this is stupid at this point, but I'll play:
GB - win
WAS - win
Det - win
NYG - loss
NYJ - win
CHI - win
MIN - win
DAL - win
WAS - loss
MIA - win
NE - loss
SEA - win
NYG - win
DAL - loss
NO - loss
BUF - win
This schedule at first glance looks much easier than last year. Nothing that even compares to the 2 division games on the road in a row scenario.

Nah Scotty- I said it too- I think the G-men STINK and thats a "W" for the Birds up there.
Start out 4-0, drop 1 to the Jets is how I see the 1st 5.
Regardless when the 1st loss comes tho, I see them 4-1 to start the season.
Could go 12-4, I'll say 11-5 for now- predication subject to change.

waaaay to early to tell.....I don't even who the Eagles starting QB is. McNabb may not be back for the first couple of games, comes in and then breaks his hip in a locker room dance off. Waaay to early....

There will be an updated PREDICATION thread soon enough.
Asskiss has them at 12-4. With this defense?
Anyway, I'll play along, if only to get yelled at:
@GB - Brett Favre starts his "last" season with a brutal L. McNabb should be ready. W
Redskins - Birds only foray into MNF and they spank the Skins. Fred Smoot will find out that Reggie Brown is bibgger than 1/3 of the earth. W
Detroit - Birds barely get past the Lions. Yes, barely. W
@Giants (night game) - before the bye. L. I don't care if the Giants stink and I don't care if they've got Dead Man Walking for a coach - they lose before the bye. L
Bye - people panic and wonder why AJ hasn't been put in yet...
@Jets - ...and then McNabb reminds them. W
Bears - Rex throws 7 passes total as the Bears run all over the Birds. L
@vikings - Panic sets in yet again as the student beats on the teacher. People wonder why Reid didn't leave in March...L
Dallas (night game) - ...and then he reminds them yet again why he's a good coach by beating the 'Boys on national TV. W
@redskins - Revenge? Nah. W
Dolphins - Who? W
@patriots (night game) - The difference between the Gold Standard and the Pyrite Standard is shown. L
Seahawks - Hopefully they'll score a TD in this game. W
Giants - In this case, the Giants DO stink. W
@Dallas - The Birds should be in fine form, beating the 'Boys again. W
@new orleans - Will NO drop off enough to present a win for the Birds? No. Sean Payton still owns this team. L
Buffalo - No one will care. Well, almost no one. W
11-5 - division champs again.

Johnson, I actually put a little thought into (very little) but I think the trends for Reid fell apart last year, he almost always loses before the bye and wins after SOOOO I'm doing the flip flop... and to be honest as of right now I don't think the G-men will win more than 7-8 games this year I really think Coughlin is a lame duck coach this year, and as soon as the season ends the rumors will start flying that they are going after "the chin" to me that is about the only reason he didn't get axed at the end of last year, they wanted Cohwer but he was taking at least a year off so they figured f'it one more year the this nut job and then we can go after Bill... just a gut feeling...

also the reason I have them beating N.O. this year, Reid will finally win a game against Sean Peyton, he couldn't beat him when he was the O' coordinator in NY and if memory serves he also gave him fits when he was the O in Dallas too..

I must say though, i am begining to worry about #5 and his ability(lack there of) to hit the ground running (without breaking anything) in september. its a serious injury. Does anyone know the injuries 5 and 93 had compared to Palmer and Culpepper. Any words on their progress?
oh, 11-5.

If they're going to start with a sub-100% McNabb, Green Bay, Washington and Detroit isn't a bad hand to be dealt.
And I agree Mlewis, no way they lose to Minnyhaha.

It's not too early to make wild predictions, is it?
Well, it looks like a pretty soft schedule so let's go with that.
Eagles 13 Opponents 3
Stop laughing! It could happen....
Gimme odds?
