In all seriousness, we should ask some of the protesters if they'd be willing to be injected with the Herpes Virus if we agreed to free one fighting dog for each one agrees.

That would separate the posers from the real activists very quickly and also allow me to ask the posers where they were protesting when Vick was handing out herpes to unsuspecting women like candy on Halloween a few years back.

So, the question should really be:

"Do you want me to inject you with herpes and live the rest of your life covered head to toe in sores like a leper in exchange for the freedom of one fighting dog"

I love how the word "inject" is being thrown around in this thread, the real question should be, does the fact that Vick has the herpes keep him form being "injected" in prison?!? My money is on him becoming a drag queen, when he is released from prison he will have to find a knew career and my money will be on drag queen, we'll see him saunter out of prison in an evening gown...

Five Falcons fined for displaying Michael Vick messages

NEW YORK (AP) — Roddy White and four other Atlanta Falcons were fined by the NFL for violating uniform regulations with tributes to Michael Vick during last week's Monday night game.
Vick, Atlanta's suspended Pro Bowl quarterback, was sentenced to 23 months in prison on federal dogfighting charges the morning of Dec. 10. The Falcons played at home against New Orleans that night.

After scoring a touchdown, White displayed a "Free Mike Vick" T-shirt under his jersey.

He, along with tight end Alge Crumpler and cornerbacks DeAngelo Hall and Chris Houston, were fined $10,000 each. Crumpler, Hall and Houston all wore black eye strips with written tributes to Vick, which the league called "displaying an unauthorized personal message."

Wide receiver Joe Horn was fined $7,500 for pulling up White's jersey to show the black T-shirt with handwritten white lettering. The fines were confirmed Tuesday by NFL spokesman Randall Liu.

Hall also had a poster of Vick on the field during pre-game introductions.

The Falcons lost the game 34-14.

At least they were focused.

DeAngelo Hall might be the worst person in the world. Whatever is lower than a scumbag is how I'd describe that guy.

Why in the world Blank drafted Hall I'll never know. Oh that's right, Hall's convict buddy told Blank to draft him.

it's sad/odd because blank is constantly described in the media as one of the classiest guys around, and every single high profile person associated with his organization - vick, hall, mora jr., petrino - represent the lowest of low in the nfl.

blank is a real life charlie brown.

I think your giving Blank to much credit/blame. He has NOTHING to do with drafting players. Jim Mora is guy behind Hall being a falcon.

Imprisoned Vick stuck in snow globe in PETA card

Updated: December 18, 2007, 7:48 PM ET

NORFOLK, Va. -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has created a holiday e-card featuring former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, who is serving a 23-month federal sentence for a dogfighting conspiracy.

Vick and three co-defendants raised pit bulls and trained them for fighting at a house Vick owned in rural Surry County. Several dogs that didn't perform well in test fights were executed.

In the card, a cartoon version of Vick paces across a prison yard inside a snow globe as gun-toting guards and their barking dogs keep watch. He's wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and football helmet and dragging a ball and chain.

When a visitor to PETA's Web site shakes the snow globe by dragging a mouse, Vick bounces around and crashes against the globe's dome as a commentator announces, "They got to the quarterback's blind side there. He never had a chance."

"We're having a bit of fun, but prison is no lark and we're hoping that Michael will use his time behind bars this holiday season to think about goodwill and peace for all," PETA assistant director Dan Shannon said in a statement Tuesday.

Other famous people getting the snow-globe treatment include Dick Cheney, Kate Moss and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

that has nothing to do at all with my point that blank gets walked on, lied to and betrayed by his head coaches and high profile players time and time again.

Josef Stalin was the nickname of Josef Dzugashvili. Joey Steel. If we're just going by nickname, Jack the Ripper and his puny 5 victims would win.

My boy racked up an estimated 3 to 60 million casualties during his career. Amin, at best a lousy half million. Shoot, Lung Cancer does that every year.

And keep this on point with the thread, Stalin never killed a dog.

hate to quote my own post, and this is obviously old news, but can we add parcells to the list of nfl-ers who have kicked sand in blank's face? blank actually traveled to parcell's house in upstate new york (which parcell's himself discouraged) to finalize a deal that had been agreed to in principle, only to be told when he got there, "uh, this is awkward. wayne just called. so it looks like i'm going with them. no hard feelings?"

billionare or not, the way blank has been fucked over this year is absurd.

Blank kind of made his own bed. Drafting thug-like players like Vick, hiring Mora Jr. as head coach (who let the inmates run the asylum), allowing Mora and the team to earn the dirty reputation especially the blocking schemes, going to the college ranks to pull the flavor of the month coach, not getting on the players who blatantly deified the league and his ownership for displaying their support for Vick in uniform at a game, and he had to sense something was up when Parcells told him do not come to my house, but he did it anyway. Hopefully he continues the trend and sends a 1st round pick to Philly for McNabb and Reid.
