This whole time, I didn't really believe that the FO had truly soured on #5 until I saw this survey on the website.

they've had enough of his act .
he's fast becoming a distraction .
he's the major cause of the internal politics in the locker room.
in every play-off ending he's thrown the pic that ended the Eagles season .
the FO saw what a has-been qb with a mediocre arm did with this team last season , that's why they're starting to make their move.

Tripe or not, I didn't make up the survey. It was on philadelphiaeagles.com. Why the hell would the Eagles let someone put that on their website unless they have a problem with McNabb and 'his issues,' as they so eloquently put it?

Truthfully, I couldn't say whether or not I'm a homer. I'm simply a patient man, and, while I love my Eagles football, I don't really invest myself emotionally in the fate of the team before or after the time period consisting of: tailgate - end of drunken stupor following games.
Hell, I didn't even have an issue with the team drafting Kolb, but I can't help but read this, and think, "Isn't this the same guy who carried Mark Carrier and Bruce Smith 8 yards into the endzone, the dude who put this team back on the map after I thought the only glory days of Eagles football I'd ever see consisted of Rodney Peete and Ty Detmer?"
Oh well . . .

This FO acts more like a Presidential Admin than a sports team. They are obsessive in their control of everything. They leak what they want through their vetted and approved media tools. They brook no dissent. They gouge the fan as much possible. Hell, they won't even let you know where you are on the Season Ticket Waiting List, but they are considering requiring a deposit.

This is just the start of the end-game for 5. In the next few weeks, Eskin will "report" that 5 has been late to meetings. Bob Brookover write do a press release article claiming that 5 is behind in his rehab. The Eagles will then just sit back and wait for public opinion to turn enough to make letting 5 go, easier.

He saw first hand Donovan's panic attack in the super bowl.
HE knew it wasn't gonna happen here with Donovan.
Plus he saw Donovan's jealousy at any eagle that gets the headlines instead of him.
[after only two games the fans sang songs to T.O.,you think that didn't rub mc nabb the wrong way ?]
Plus freddy mitchell clued him in to mc nabb.
the 4th and 26 play , which moved donovan ahead of brett favre with two wins against him in the same yr.[ he hated that he was always compared to him ].
the whole week after that game all you heard was fredex , first down freddy ,etc.
the daily news had a nickname contest for him.[ you don't think donovan was pissed that he was out of the limelight .]
the next week after the panther loss , in the locker room , donovan said "we need play makers on either side of the ball "
freddy the week before made the most clutch play in twenty yrs !
and he never threw to him again unless there was absolutely no one open , then he would throw to him for a first down.

the last thing freddy said was : when they put a highlight film of mc nabb together all the clutch catches will be to me.

last season while donovan was still playing l.j. was in the top 5 among te's , he disappeared when he left. after garcia came in schobel started catching first down passes and scored a couple of td's.
one in the play-offs .
they didn't re-sign l.j. this off season HHhmmmmmm ...i wonder why ?

this past preseason jabbar gaffney was hurt for half of training camp , the last two games he came on strong , he looked pretty impressive .all the beat writer's thought he would stick with the team off his two preseason game performances and because of the signing bonus he got .
every one was shocked when G-lew [ who rarely played during pre-season ] was kept .
Did anybody see Gaffney's play-off performances ?

I'm tired of getting into my seat and wondering if the 100 million dollar man will be ' on ' that game , or if he'll be in fast forward while everyone else is in 'normal' speed .
T.O. wasn't lying when he said the coaches came up to him before the pittsburgh game , when both teams were unbeaten ,and told him to take it easy on donovan because " he has a tendency to get tight in big games ".

HE's a great athlete , qb , Eagle ;
he'll win a lot of ball games , probably get into the hall of fame and may even win the big one with another team ...
but ...he'll never win one here .
