For numerous violations of the "no contact" rule in offseason practices.

According to PFT

Every team does it and it's no big deal. I know in PFT's self inflated opinion of itself they think that because theyve been bangin the drum of "shining a light" on the no contact rule bein violated- that now its gettin some attention in league circles- but at the end of the day I dont see any major changes, and nobody's goin to listen to the snitches who were given a green light the other day, to speak up.

The problem is, video was turned in (according to the story), so it would go beyond some snitch

It won't go anywhere. The most trouble I could see them getting in is maybe having to forfeit a practice, but you can't really have contact without pads, so it's probably linemen engaging with each other in hand technique drills or something.

We'll see, but I wouldn't consider it a big deal.

If the Eagles were to be penalized with a precious, I'm sure they'd pack the players in the American Gladiator spheres for practice next year.

I think it's pretty obvious what'll happen: the league will threaten to take a pick away, and then Big Red will show a little cleavage and say "Boys, we can do this the hard way...or we can do this.....the FUN way"

Excellent.

Dontchya Love the way that site hasnt turned the page, and insinuates that McNabb is the snitch?

He's the only SUPPOSEDLY disgruntled Eagle, and even the National media dropped that angle after he came out and essentially laughed it off.

But what person in their right mind would think that McNabb would be the snitch?

Not even Dastardly and Muttley would pull this ish.

My guess would be a disgruntled offensive or defensive lineman, so they are the ones who most likely were involved in the contact.

I'm gonna go with the recently departed Sam Rayburn. Mcdougle would be an option. Maybe Darren Howard.

I have no clue, though.

rayburn is in san fran, i don't think he was even at a OTA all year. Mcdougle seems right

I was thinking it might have been a vindictive thing, like calling the league office on his way out the door and saying "these guys hit in the OTA's every year...just a heads up".

I have no clue, though.

Brian Seltzer of Sports Radio 950 in Philadelphia reports that the Eagles will not be penalized for alleged violations of the league's offseason workout rules.

Per Seltzer, the NFL Players Association conducted and investigation, and recently concluded that no punishment was warranted.

We previously reported that the NFLPA was investigating the Eagles for repeated violations of the rules, and that the potential discipline could have included the loss of a draft pick.

If the notification was written on the back of a Shoney's placemat in blue crayon, I would suspect, the recently departed, Neckbeard.

My money's on Eckel.
