I am going to training camp Saturday morning for the first time. I am planning on getting there around 8:00, is that a good time ? What can I expect ? Can I bring a water bottle and my camera ? Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

I think drinks and cameras are permitted. First things first, make sure the morning practice isn't special teams.

Regarding what you should expect: to sweat. There is no shade and it's hot.

The 1st practice is full contact, begins at 8:30. It ends at 10:30. Hope you have no aversion to crowds.

There's an autograph tent, for which you'd need to get there earlier than 8 (by about 2 hours) to be assured getting a ticket that entitles you to an autograph after the 1st session.
The WRs are signing on Saturday.

Then the team breaks for lunch & you should too.

Most savy folks pack their own rather than pay $4.00 for a soggy hot dog or hardened pretzel and $3.00 for a 16oz Bottle of H20. Who said the Vet's dead?

You'd be surprised how many folks bust out the stereo's, grills, keg etc and have a full out tailgate. I've seen this a time or two.

The 2nd practice begins at 2:30 and is only Special Teams. You could skip this and you and your group could get a pick up 'rough touch' football game goin instead, and be better off (most of you).

Have a good one.
