Oh I agree on McCoy in the 1st games last yr- before the injury he was OK for sure. Definately a nose for the ball. A tad small for the course of an NFL season IMO tho.
I think there's a SHOT they keep BOTH guys. That would be fine with me- cant have enuff LBs in my world.

I just think Tank brings a lot more to the ST than McCoy.

I have no problem with them keeping extra linbackers. I would much rather see mccoy and daniels then Dedrick Roper and the position formerly for reno mahe.

Rough first half. Too many little dings on the players (ramsey, abimiri and bloom).

This is the part of the game that is more difficult to watch, although this is 48-53 on the roster, and rocca will get to punt for the second half I think, which I am interested to see.

Not a big Dirk fan, so I wouldnt mind seeing rocca.

Everytime 36 got a carry, i winced.

Time to give him the LT treatment and not play him at ALL in the preseason games.

Sorry. He's proven brittle and if they really plan on running the ball this yr, they need him fresh and healthy.

Gotta agree on Westy. I saw him stumbling on that little screen and the RAC, and I thought thats exactly how he got the Les Franc injury. He looked shift as ever though and I think he is going to have a huge year.

Definitely pumped to have football back. I know that I am a loser, but somebody has to be that guy.

Rocca first punt 35 yards, no return. Second Punt was a "wobbly" 45 yards and no return due to hangtime.

I will take those punts though since Dirk always has big returns on his long punts (i.e. over 40 yards) because he kicks it so low (although he is very good in the directional).

I really think that this comes down to the holding.

I was hoping for such an impressive showin outta Rocca that he'd be the clear fav goin into Fri's game and Dirk would feel pressed.

I agree, his "bad punts" go for 45 w/ no return, but i dont think that gets it done in the coaches minds if it continues.

Everyone loves IKE REESE but this has been the most horrifically called football game I have heard in years. The PBP man looks like he did no preparation at all and gave you little to no information as to changes in personnel (the only thing interesting in the 3rd qrt of the preseason). A ton of miss calls, no explanations in terms of penalties (How did Hunts 13 yard catch and run turn into 3rd and forever from our own 3) Very frustrating. HORRIFIC!

btw, I read in the paper earlier about how Akers is not happy about his summer and that he doesnt feel right. He did little to change that tonight. Has akers been the same since the quad injury?

Who is the PBP man, i was going to comment earlier, he announced at one point that Kolb made the tackle and it was matt mccoy...not good.

Ike hasnt done a bad job as the color guy, but if the PBP man sucks donkey dick this bad, there isnt a whole lot you can do.
