8 games on one screen from DirectTV? Who was the brain trust that thought of that? Just what I want...a way to turn a large screen TV into 8 small screens.

Tony Hunt is to slow, and no wiggle. I hoped for more, but he seems to be a poor mans Buckhalter.

Not to read too much into anything, but Hunt has looked really good on this drive. He's not exactly fast, but he has decent vision and has shown that he can catch the ball.

Hmm...He's no Westbrook IMS, but he has done what they wanted him to do this series.

Kolb has a long way to go on the QB sneak. What a painful game to watch now. I was really hoping to see a bit more at this point, but I keep repeating the mantra "it's only pre-season" over and over in the hopes that it will help.

Avant has really impressed me. Rocca has really impressed me. Hunt has kind of impressed me. The rest have only depressed me.

hunt looks good...no one expects him to have 4.4 speed, this offense doesnt need him to. He needs to not fumble and get +yards.

I cant get over how bad the D looked. 96 and 57 looked way too over aggressive and wide eyed. Very shaky. #20 looked bad as well. I dont want to over react, but the defense looked like it needed a leader.

The defense HAS been a monumental dissappointment in this game. Pittsburgh has a good offense, but they made more than half their yards on blown tackles. They have proven that they can't stop any facet of the game without blitzing again, and they have shown that they still have a propensity to be gassed by the end of the half/game.

My grammar teacher would die with my use of "they" in the last post, but I'm sure people can figure out what I meant if they so choose.

I'm not looking, or expecting a superstar from Hunt. I just think he really doesn't stand out. Made some easy runs against 2nd stringers. Just my opinion.

Has an Eagle D looked this bad against the under and screen pass. Holy shit, what a nightmare.

Kolb to Gasperson = Superstar combo? At least Gasperson looks like he is trying. He should get lots of playing time with Holcomb on Thursday. Maybe this is the year he latches on with a team.

Nice to see the "4th and short" pass play didn't get lost when Morningwood took the play calling reigns...

Man, Ilaoa is even slower than Hunt. I honestly can't see him making the team.

aksdude, Gowrong was total garbage today. I disagree that he looked to be a decent tackler or that he showed promise. Unless it was "I promise to block myself" or "I promise to fall down and wave my arms at the guy with the ball".

The only time I saw him make a tackle today was when he was part of a gang tackle where the ball carrier had no room to make a move. Every single time Gocong was in the open field, he missed. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've got the game on Tivo, so if you could point out a single play where he actually made a tackle one-on-one, I'd like to go back and check it out.

This game have showed that problem with defense of the last year have been fixed.
