I know its not worth the paper its written on but here is Peter King's list of the NFL's 500 Best Players. $5 if you can guess where Mcnabb is listed without looking.

Oh yeah I forgot how to link. Have at it.

After 1 and 2 (and even that's debatable), the list is a joke.

Vince Young (who's won nothing) is rated much higher over McNabb.

I thought McNabb would've been rated at least in the 50s. But this is Lucha Latte we're talking about.

That's funny- he's got Calvin Johnson ahead of McNabb...

Peter King should be outlawed from this site- I wasted three perfectly good seconds of my time looking at that

For those who don't want to pay King any mind, I'll post it for you:

72. Donovan McNabb QB, Eagles Vital season; must prove he's not too brittle

Yep, he's rated way below such QB prospects as Vince Young and Matt Hasselbeck. IN fact, Hasselbeck is the #20 player on that list. Yes.

What I LOVE about these lists...

12 players of his top 100 are either rookies or 2nd year players.

24 of his top 200 players are either rookies or entering their 2nd year.

So King literally believes 12% of the league's best players have 1 or fewer seasons of experience?

Even ranking Calvin Johnson ahead of Roy Williams...the #1 WR on Calvin Johnson's team.

Have another Starbucks ya fat prick.

I understand his "I'm going to judge some guys higher because of potential", but it's bullshit. 2 years ago Ronnie Brown would have been a top 50 player on his board. Robert Gellery would have been one of his top 4 rated OTs in football. David Carr would have been listed ahead of McNabb...

These lists are just filler.

I stopped reading Peter King when Mary Beth King graduated from high school and went to college.

King's column has become pointless without the riveting play-by-play of high school field hockey games.

Potential means crap. If his list were based on "the top 500 players in the NFL going into the end of the year or next", then he'd have a point, maybe.

Placing Young above McNabb based on potential (because everyone has potential) is stupid. Not to mention his list contradicts his earlier rankings of Tony Romo as being better than some QBs. At least be consistent, you nimrod.

King is more like the court jester. What a dumb article by a dumb man.

On another note, where's the "Season Predication" thread?

I just looked at the Saints schedule - what a complete and udder joke. Their division is terrible AND this has to be the easiest schedule in history for a Championship game team ...

Bucs twice
Falcons twice
Texans
Cardinals
Niners (don't believe the hype)
Panthers twice (same thing about the hype)

Only three tough games (Colts, Birds, and Bears), and maybe at the Seahawks but only cause they pump in fake crowd noise.

NTTF, talon.

luckily for us mary beth fans, king still periodically updates the masses on how much she loves colgate, the cute idiosyncrasies of her roomate, and how she can't believe how much reading she has for her "intro to world religion" course...

83. Kelly Gregg DT, Ravens Greatest overachiever in the league.

I really hope that this is a joke and his daughter is banging Kelly Gregg and is looking to give him a shout out. This is the same Kelly Gregg who got cut from the Eagles years ago. The only reason he ever made it this far is due to the talent surounding him. Peter King has as much writing talent as Christopher Reeves had mobility.
