Yes- but the ORIGINAL spelling was TestEverde, my Rolo-poppin' friend. Vincent Corleone TestEverde had his name legally changed after arriving to Ellis Island from the old country by boat in the 1920's.

This (the Testaverde signing) amazes me. Why drag his sorry, colorblind ass out of the home and pass on halfway decent, younger QBs? Couldn't they find Aaron Brooks or Jake Plummer's #? Hell, grab some kid from the now defunct NFLE and maybe find the next Kurt Warner before he finds the annoying wife.

Just think about the examples you just posted, fagel.
Vinny may be longer in the tooth, but he at least somewhat knows how to manage a game. Besides, if Carr doesn't play well or gets injured, you're screwed anyway, so you might as well get something a little less screwed up.

i think because your gums tend to recede when older, so the teeth appear longer..but not 100% sure on it

"Long in the tooth" refers to the fact that one can determine a horse's age by looking at its teeth. A horse's gums recede as it ages causing its teeth to look "long."
