the Eagles passing struggling vs the Redskins is very disapointing. I'm ready to drop Brown from FF already.

8-8 was way too fucking optimistic. Someone needs to tell FB you cant move away from the run and the pass at the same time. If I had to listen to kornhole and jaws make excuses for mcnott one more time i was going to fucking hurl. This team is really fucking bad. THis is not a drill. This is not a slow start.

Curtis- White Lightning my ass. Slow and soft. These receivers may actually be WORST than Na Brown and Trash. R Brown has regressed and the only half way dependable receiver is a Maizehead. Effin terrible. Dark robes offically on. Mcnabb is done and Reid needs to join him. Bring in the Tuna.

Omar Gaither is NOT better than Trotter without knees.

Will Izell James and Joselio Hanson are terrible.

McNabb is in his twighlight.

Westbrook is being punished for crimes in a prior life...otherwise he should have been a SB winner.

Brown is not a #1...he looks like a slightly better version of Trash.

The ENTIRE WR corps can't get off the press at the line of scrimmage.

Fucking Stuart Scott wasn't even born when they booed santa.

The offensive line is providing excellent coverage.

Considine isnt good but isn't bad.

Takeo Spikes, Darren Howard and Gaither were nowhere to be found.

Reid's playcalling sucks more than I've ever thought possible. He keeps calling for options short of first down on 3 and long.

Still no committment to the run.

All in all, pathetic.

I'm ready to pack it in....

JJ's defense needs to be retooled. I'd say bring back ray bob as a coordinator or consider Wade Phillips for a starting job. He'd do better than this.

Cursed.......

Get off the LBs--Gaither and Spikes were good. The D stuffed the run all night, and only got beat on the pass because Will Peterson/James couldn't cover your grandmother, let alone Santana Moss.

The receivers ARE as bad as the T-Small/CJ days. There needs to be a SERIOUS commitment to the run, a la Steelers, where McNabb throws 25 times a game AT MOST. Eagles have got enough O-Line guys and enough good RBs to make this happen. Do this, and play action will actually mean something.

Avant is the only WR on the team worth a damn--and yeah, he's a Maizehead. Ugh.

How long is Dawk gonna be out?

Have you HEARD the post-game interview with Reid?

He said that at least twice.

I think he's done...

Are you serious? He said that with a straight face? Try off by 4 fucking feet on that out route at the end of the game.

F Reid. F Mcnabb. They both need to be gone now.

Reid says Marty's gonna play call, then takes the reigns himself and does the absolutely shittiest job ever of playcalling and not sticking with the run when Westbrook was getting about 8 yards/carry.

I am done with this administration. Vote him out!

My wife and I were cracking up while listening to him - she's like "so if McNabb throws the ball a bit better, are we splitting hairs?"

Interesting thing that Cutie Suzie said - during halftime, the Birds went into the tunnel looking dejected, not anyone saying a word. Came out the same way, too. only person who looked like he had ANY fire.......Kevin Kolb.

Watching McNabb is gonna be like watching the last 15 minutes of "Old Yeller".

What an effing travesty of a game...again. I'm literally horse from screaming "RUN THE F*CKING BALL!!!" for what must surely be over the 200 millionth time in the last 6 or years. I just don't get it, and I'll leave it at that in the drunken stupor that I'm in right now.

McNabb was scattershot yesterday, but I'm not hanging the loss on him. Squarely on Reid.

51 passes. 18 runs.

Reid is absolutely, 100% calling the plays again. The pass is the strength of the Skins D and they were averaging 5.5 yards per carry in a close game all the way through. They have a QB who is not 100% and receivers who are clearly not as good as they hoped they'd be.

Throwing the ball 51 times to 18 runs is a fucking travesty.

Fuck Reid...please get him out of here.

McNabb is on his way out, too, but I thought he played really well in the 4th quarter. He's simply not 100% and won't be until later this year at the earliest. They should be protecting him right now...not going 75% pass against a good pass defense.

The Skins were in more of a prevent defense though. Might be a coincidence, might not.

Like you, I don't blame McNabb. He was off, but he had some crucial drops, his receivers couldn't get open, and the playcalling was atrocious. I don't like how he still feels he has to throw the ball 125 mph when it's not warranted, but I do believe he will start feeling more comfortable in the pocket, that is, if his receivers can beat anybody off the line of scrimmage.

Worst part about the game for me was the inability of the D to get off the field on third down.

Not a prevent, but a zone. The WRs simply could shake their men (at all) in man coverage. It's hard to stay that covered in the NFL, but the Eagles WRs were putting on a clinic last night.

Anyone remember when Stallworth used to get open deep by about 8 yards? Those were the days...
