Here's a very interesting post from ENY on the page after the one you linked:

Good lord... could you imagine McNabb's reaction if he were faced with a situation like Bledsoe encountered with the emergence of Brady?

Considering old hobbled McNabb single handedly got the Eagles off to an 0-2 start AND the Eagles have a Tom Brady type player on the bench, we may all find out.

To be so fixated on your viewpoint/perception is a guarantee for ultimate failure.

One thing has never changed though....running the ball as a cornerstone for an offense and this includes the 49ers. Most good coaches tailor systems to their players. Reid doesn't and figures that any good athlete should be able to fit into his system. A needlessly complicated (takes 3-4 years for a QB to master) system.

Other than WB...Reid has never really had any playmakers outside of TO's cameo.

As for McNabb, I agree with you, Dean....but probably for different reasons. He has matured and has improved as a QB. The method that Reid has used to bring him along and his psyche hasn't helped him here in Philly. It doesn't suggest an inability to win just wrong person for the place. Couple this Reid's muleishness...and really both need to go.

Let's not forget - Reid didn't really address what Westbrook said about how the team wasn't really prepared during the pre-season, and how there was a noticeable lack or urgency on the team, especially during the half.

Can't blame that on the QB.

Reid works with a soft touch. Keeps everything in house... A game like last night required a "coweresque" coach. Someone on the side lines "rip roaring" through the team.

Philly is going to turn it around. The past speaks for itself under FB. My biggest concern is they don't go to Kolb too soon...

Mcnabb has to make a decision.. Risk further injury and step up or, continue to take a "pounding on and off the field." TO in the Superbowl is an example of playing "hurt" for the good of the team.

Finally recovered from going to yesterdays bore fest.

A very unentertaining contest. There was more action in the stands then on the field. The best right above us with some Skins fan getting the shit beat out of him.

It was tough to stay awake and 20 bud lites didn’t help ease the pain of watching that pathetic excuse of a professional football game.

Don't know were to begin and a lot of other posters comments pretty much cover my thoughts.

But here are some anyway.

Thank God for the Eagles Cheerleaders. When you are watching a game with as little excitement as yesterdays it is WONDERFUL to look around to see some of the hottest pieces of ass on the planet. Worth the admission to the game.

Never seen so many drunken girls staggering around the Linc. Don't know if it was the late start or what but chicks were falling down drunk all over the place. Would like to know where some of these broads hang out on a daily basis.

For the 2nd straight week the Eagles lacked any real emotion. Wonder who besides Dawk and Westbrook are the leaders on this team. How can you come out and play so lackadaisical on MNF against a division rival is beyond my comprehension.

For the 2nd straight week the Eagles WR were bitched slapped and challenged by the CBs at the line of scrimmage and failed horribly. Defenses are basically challenging McNabb to throw the ball to his WR cause they know he can't run anymore. Look for the Lions to pick up were the Packers and Foreskins laid off.

Why doesn’t this team have a real KO & PR guy?

Has Andy Reid learned nothing in the last 9 years about his constant mistakes? What is the point of saying it is my fault and I need to correct the problem if you never do. Please give the tired shtick of “it is my fault” and “I gotta put guys in a better position” to sleep because it so FKN OLD you fat fuck face.

And last but not least is it really possible that the Eagles will lose to the Lions on Sunday and go 0-3.

It’s going to be a long painful year.
