That sound you hear on Tuesday, will be the sound of Javon Kearse waiving goodbeye on the waiver wire. J. Thomas has pushed him into the background. The offsides calls on the freak are due to his cheating on the snap count due to gimpy legs. He is a severe dissapointment.

mcnabb avoiding the big overthrows, and no wormburners either. quite an accomplishment. hope it lasts.

westbrook awesome as usual.

pressure from the d line, even though it was late in the game and kitna was holding on to the ball too long

white lightning's numbers got some padding today. we'll see how he does when he's not up against a zone.

the bad

aside from the interception, his tackling sucks balls. i don't know why people like him. maybe i'm just too critical because he's a white safety. just kidding

kearse had no tackles today...clearly not the same player...

great day for the offense, great for supa-5....this team looked very, very sound.

injuries are a bit of concern, but Justice played very nicely in place of Tra.

Once against Westbrook = WOW! The guy is just amazing. I do think he's getting to many touches and is starting to get nicked. The rest of the team needs to step up around him(like today) to keep him healthy.

Curtis was great. He deserves credit where credit is due.....speaking of that...

I know the D had 420 plus yards put on them through the air, but it was a pretty good job for a nicked up secondary.
Nice job by the front four. Bunkley played a good game, and Cole was OUTSTANDING! Mikkel played a nice game, and made some key plays. Sheldon made a couple of great tackles and Considine had a good pick.

Of the "TOP TEN" things that were bad in this game JEVON KEARSE was 7 of them. HE IS WORTHLESS! Another week with no tackles and a key offsides penalty.

Ha ha! I decided to be a homer and start McNabb on my fantasy team! Fucking WOO HOO!! It's the uniforms, definitely.

Didn't see the game...but the absence of Lito makes a big difference for this secondary.

I wouldn't fret the yardage given up through the air considering that Detroit has 3 starting WRs that are all pretty fast, strong, and over 6'. Calvin Johnson, Roy Williams and Co are pretty good. Kitna is a solid QB who is really a career journeyman but does play reasonably well overall.

I'm impressed by McNabb's stats...didn't see how crisp he looked, but it really seemed that he was on point.

McNabb was extremely sharp. I think every incompletion was a drop, if I'm remembering correctly.

I don't know what to take from this game. I really don't. This season is starting to feel like 2005 to me...no consistency (good or bad).

On the bright side, with the Giants knocking off the Skins, it keeps one more team close to them in the East. Hopefully the Boy's lose tonight.

Jules I don;t think I've seen him ever play as well as he did today, at one point he had thrown something like 21 for 23, 19 straight completions... incredibly crisp and IMO as accurate as he has ever been, hard for anyone to find any fault in his game today...

Shame on me for thinking that the Loins were legit. Their defense is HORRIBLE.

McNabb looked great, but he might as well have been playing Temple out there. He wasn't getting breathed on, let alone touched.

Oh, and btw, the Loins have showed everyone in the league how NOT to play the Eagles - Curtis had about 20 yards of open field between him and the CB.

All in all, a very good win against an inferior opponent, the stuff that you're supposed to do. Good stuff.

I agree that the Lions defense sucked big time, but 56 points against any NFL defense is a pretty good day. I also have to admit that McNabb looked very sharp, I just wonder which McNabb will be in NY next week.
...Oh yeah, send Kearse directly to the glue factory!
