I disagree with the notion that their dive into FA "wrecked" the team (their awful drafting did),

Typically teams that draft shitty NEED to supplement bad drafting by diving into FA. Because they dove so far was a testament to how crappy their drafts were.

Hopefully with the new people in place JJ can finally rest in peace.

One is born out of the other - their reckless foray into FA the past couple of years wouldn't be so appalling if their drafts weren't so bad - and they wouldn't need to sign guys like NonD and Ronnie Brown if they were able to grab and develop guys from the minor league system. In this case, the FA signings exposed even moreso the bad drafting.

One other thing - why do analysts go gaga for saying "The Eagles are the 4th youngest team in the NFL!"? Really? Could it be the reason they're so young is because their drafts are so bad they have to replenish positions every couple of years?

Likewise but it wasn't so much for me the entertainment on the field but more the shenanigans going on underneath in the concourse.

Remember one time when my friend got popped by Philly’s Finest for doing lines in the concourse at halftime. Took him away in cuffs.

And of course the brawls down there when the Cowboys, Skins and Vagiants fans were in town.

Good times by all.

Certainly a combo for disaster. Hopefully with all the money they have for FAs and the high draft picks they can work their way back to mediocrity.

If they can improve the pass defense at all they could be somewhat competitive next year on some level.
