At this point in time, you can only hope that Jeffrey Lurie understands the fundamentals of football. It's a longshot, I know, but I really hope he understand how the game works because it would be wonderful if he would ask his employee exactly why he consistently throws the ball when his team is trying to run out the clock, especially when this ass-backward philosophy has backfired repeatedly over the last 9 years.

I also would like to see one Philadelphia journalist attend a news conference and respond to Reid's typical (and deserved) "I take this loss on me; I need to do a better job of putting the players in position to win" speech by asking, "Andy, you have continually taken the blame for these losses, yet you have responded by using the same exact strategy that consistently misfires in crucial situations. If each loss is your fault, and you keep taking the same approach with the same losing result, why should the owner of the team keep you employed when you have shown an unwillingness to change and therefore cannot lead your team victory?"

Ugh, a boring game to watch until it gets exciting enough for a buildup to let you down.

I just want to get this season over with.

I was supposed to go to the game yesterday and I realized a couple days beforehand that I really didn't want to go through all the hassle of getting in and out of the city to see a bunch of lame duck losers. I'm extremely happy with my decision.

Bring on the losses and let's see if Kolb has a future or not before the next draft.

The only thing that was more brutal than the game (I was on the road for just about the entire time the game was on) was listening to WIP (for entertainment purposes only) after the game. Oof, Hugh and the other moron were horrible.

I'm somewhat curious what Spuds has to say, if it's going to be another "bury 5" session.
