Seth, I trust Chad Johnson and Braylon Edwards more than I trust The Fragile One's ability to deliver a catchable pass and the Mormon's ability to catch a wild throw.

FWIW, Curtis finished with 7 points on the bench, while starters Braylon Edwards tallies 23 and Chad Johnson nets 5.
Nevertheless, The Talon wins in a blowout, the Eagles win in a decent game, and everyone's a winner (unless you bet against New England).

If you only start 2 and you have Edwards and CJ- yeah, you never contemplate puttin Curtis in other than as a bye wk fill in.
Great to get a "W" and not have too TOO much to bitch about.
STUPID FLAGS EXTENDING DRIVES is B.S.
McNabb looked less stiff and more comfortable overall today. Hope he builds off that.
Good job holdin Adrian P. in check too.

I just checked out that StubHub link...ridiculous.
They have thousands of tickets for the Chargers game on sale now starting at $6 each, with the vast majority being between $8 and $12.

I also went to the game. McNabb actually did look more agile and nimble than he has in several years. He didn't look slow. One thing that was painfully obvious to me is that Reid is not only moron who loves to pass all the time, but almost ALL his pass plays take so friggin long to develop. I remember one of the early trips to the red zone where there was an intermediate post play with the TE being the primary target. That took more than 4 seconds to develop and of course things had devolved by then. No quick slants (except for ONE where Reggie Brown unlike Moss had it hit him between the numbers and promptly dropped it). All of those pass plays necessitate 5 or 7 step drops. That is just dumb to me. Especially when you see an all out blitz, if it isn't picked up, then the QB is toast.
Reid is an idiot. Period.
Childress is dumber still.
What does this add up to? Well, it gives credence to the saying, "the difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits". The Vikes were poorly coached and seemed even worse on special teams (if possible).
Westbrook reminds me of a watermelon seed that squirst out of the pile of beasts that he runs through/between.
The Birds O-line is truly massive. The fact that Reid doesn't use them to maul the opposition into submission still baffles me.

We sat up in the second main tier 15 rows back near the 20 yard line (friend bought tickets when they went on sale in the preseason, so we didn't get the bargain that MikeinMD did).
In the highest section, a fight broke out instigated by the Philly faithful. I doubt any Minnyhahan's have it in them to be mean. I was a bit embarrassed for our city. The Birds fans were pounding on the ducts of the pressurized dome in MN and that seemed to astound the Purple Peeps. I was a bit surprised that THEY were surprised at the barbarism, but whatever.
PS, lots of blonde hot POAs in the Twin Cities. I was glad it was Halloween weekend. Tip of the hat to Erin and a girl's name I can't remember who formed the unofficial welcoming committee on Sat night.

Do tell Jules. Lord knows we aren't gonna get any excitement out of the Birds this year, so we might as well get it from Levelers gettin' laid.
