when was the last time that you KNEW the Eagles were going to lose a game? They've been underdogs before but there was always an inkling of hope. There is none this week. I'm thinking maybe 1998 Cowboys game?

Will ANYONE stay awake to watch the entire game?

Why wouldn't you? As badly as they're going to get destroyed, you almost have to see it all.

The Pyrite Standard gets embarrassed yet AGAIN on national TV (and I shudder to think how the Oline's gonna perform under that type of pressure).
The REAL Gold Standard shows you how to do a final run, while the other team shoves mediocre players in there for sake of the system.
Brady went on the radio and said they're trying to blow teams out. Combine that with minimal bulletin board material about Spygate (and how Brady was annoyed at the Birds, which prompted the "they blitz every time" comment) and this could get ugly by the coin toss.
And besides, Kevin Kolb could make his first appearance, depending on how bad the score is. Gotta learn at some point.

I still think Moss won't be the one that kills them, but the other receivers will.

I will watch the entire train wreck I'm sure. It's like when my brother sends me an e-mail with an absolutely gross link in it, I still watch it.

The cowbell is summoned to get the mojo to a point where a 23.5 spread is the object to beat?
Ugh.

I will watch, but will not lose sleep over it, as in, stayin awake til 12am to watch them lose by 55.

I'll turn it on in the 3rd Qtr. in my bedroom and doze off.

Want to hear Merrill and Mike talk about it, and see if Quick gives the Spadaro Spin.

"Sure they lost by 70, but they were one or two plays away from making it competitive. This point is brought to you by Slack's Hoagie Shack".

I fully expect the birds to keep it close, injure Brady, gain some confidence only to barely miss the playoffs, and watch the cowboys paste the steelers in the superbowl.

The 4th quarter is going to be the best part.

That's when they'll be showing candid shots of Jeff Lurie and talking about "what a difference a couple years makes. Less than 3 years ago these Eagles gave the Patriots a run for their money in the Super Bowl, but they were just outgunned tonight".

Then they'll pan to a shot of McNabb making frown face and we'll see Lito Sheppard laughing with Greg Lewis in the background.

It's going to be glorious...

There's something to be said for knowing the outcome of a game in advance and just waiting for the slaughter to begin.

I'm more excited to watch this than anticipating a slow, awful struggle against the worst team in the league last week.

Call me crazy. I just put 100 bucks on the eagles to beat this spread. I got it at 22.5.

I honestly think that the Pats get up by 24 points and lose interest. The Birs score some meaning less late points when the Pats don't care and I win.

I actually won the money betting on the Pats last week, so it is free money.

NTFF

Thanks EAG I needed that...

Now for something completely different... I don't know why but I am starting to think the Eagles will not only cover the spread but actually keep it close. Several reasons for this, I can't explain them now I gotta go outta beer and crack when I get back from the goodies run if I'm still alive I'll explain...

What, Don't you want to see the game-change flea-ficker play stuffed by two Patriots in the backfield?

Or the quaterback sacked 12 times?

Or Randy Moss reaching over Lito Shepherd in the redzone endzone?

Or Grabel catching a touchdown pass?

Or Tapeh catching a pass out of the backfield for a 2 yard gain?

Or a route jumped, intercepted, and run the other direction for a touchdown?

hehehe........Greg Lewis is the Philadelphia Eagles' version of Isiah Thomas. Always smirking with ZERO reason for that smirk. Bellecheat has PLENTY of reasons to smirk.

I think I'm going to lay 1k on the Pats raping Lurie's franchise. I will enjoy every raping moment. Why? Cuz then, the Birds will have no FUCKING EXCUSE FOR THE SHIT THEY TROT OUT AND CALL A FOOTBALL TEAM. The sorry excuses for WRs, the sorry excuses for over-coveting preciouses, disdaining free agency, and not finding a coach that KNOWS his role as amature psychiatrist.

At the end of the day, I expect the trophy case at the Nova Care center to have been raided. What a shame.....all those Cap Trophy's all gone! I wonder what kind of punishment Goddell would issue to the Pats for stealing the Cap Trophy, Lurie's Lunch, Reid's Menu AND the Lombardi!
