F-dallas.

That half-sister thing was low.

Just low.

You know everybody in the black community is related to one of three roving crimeys, it's kinda hard to find somebody you're not related to, ya know?

Tuned into the new sports station down here in Columbia SC this afternoon and they are discussing the Carolina vs. Clemson game... It's a big deal if you live in the state or, attended one of the two schools.. Why is it important?

Dawkins (Clemson) and Brown (Carolina) were calling in from Philly and chatting with everyone's fan favorite Duce Staley who has found a career in broadcasting here in Columbia SC....

End of BS'ng about the college game the talk moved around to the NE game. Both seem quietly confident that they will give up a couple big plays but they can compete with NE and expect to be able to "make some plays." Sheldon apparently has been quoted as saying he thinks Philly can compete and New England is beatable in an article somewhere and he still standing by those words.. They indicated that they were calling from the locker room on a speakerphone and you could hear all kinds of laughing and joking going on behind them.. Apparently the mood is not as somber as one might think it is going into this weekends game.

Perhaps FB has one more "secret" hidden in his "bag of tricks."

Exactly...pressure comes into play when you have something to lose. These guys are rich, 4 TD underdogs, and have nothing to lose.

FD,

I don't think they have tried the "run it up the middle play" enough... Or the long ball to the "well covered" WR

The only thing making this game "watchable" is to see how badly the Eagles get beaten. I actually believe that the Patriots ST could cover the spread by themselves. The stupid games where the Eagles have a shot of winning just kill me. (Chicago, GB from this year; Tampa Bay from last year, etc)

Added to that, I stocked up on beer, wine, and hard liquor, and should be completely oblivious to anything happening somewhere around the second quarter, so what do I have to be worried about?

"Meanwhile, New England cornerback Randall Gay recently sounded off regarding the perception that the team is running up the score.

"It kind of makes me mad when you hear somebody from the other team's defense going, 'They shouldn't have done that; that's disrespect.' Do we think it's disrespect when they went and picked up their checks for letting a team score 50 points on them? That should be disrespect; that you went to your owner and said, 'All right, pay me for that game I just played.'"

Wow. I think there is going to be a lot of disrespect in the Eagles F.O. Accounts Payable department this Sunday.

Hey, if the Eagles needed anything to get them fired up for this firing-squad of a game, at least they've got this.

They should be renamed to the New England Disrespected.

I'm just sick and tired of their whining about "disrespect". Shut up about it, already!

I hope the utter and complete humiliation that Reid will endure will cause him to retire.

I know it won't, but I hope they score 63 by the half. I'd love to hear the post mortem on that game.

Since there's no way anyone's gonna bet on the Eagles, I'm waiting until the last possible second to let the line get as high as it can get before I bet on the Patriots. I'm hoping to be able to say "I was givng 29 1/2 and still won"...

Judging by the gamecast, the Redskins just lost in grand fashion, with big INTs deep in opposing territory in the 4th.

Detroit lost.
Skins lose.
Giants lose.
Tampa Bay win doesn't matter.

Given that the Eagles have a 98% chance of losing tonight, at least their main wildcard rivals will leave them with even ground.

really is incredible that a team could be favored by more than four scores, considering the underdog isn't particularly horrible, simply middle of the road.
