I was enlightened as to the meaning of the phrase by a young friend of mine about a month ago. I just can't believe Whitlock is now using it and that's it's some sort of popular lexicon. I thought it more like an urban legend.

"Soulja Boy" is the rapper who I believe popularized the phrase or the idea of "superman that ho." When I asked the kid what he was dressed as, he informed me "Soulja Boy" and began doing the rap for me. I'd heard the song, but had no idea what the hell "superman that ho" meant... the rest is history.
