FB owes any semblance of job security to a lucky draft pick of the local kid.

2nd and 12, what are we gonna call with 1 minute left? A run. Let's spike the ball to stop the clock.

Stopping the clock would have been better.

McNabb must be relieved. He gets to ride out the sinking ship this year and then bail right as the water fills the ship.

Reid's gotta go. I don't really know what else to say, the playcalling blew, check that, has blown for too long. Here come the boos.

What more could I have expected. Yet another game I had written off, only to come back and give me a glimmer of hope, and then rip my heart out. Feely won't even command a 7th now. Way to go, effhole!

Like I said earlier, Tatupu is to Feeley what Ronde Barber is to McNabb.

This performance should quiet anyone (NEAG) who thinks AJ is the answer over McNabb. I'm sure some people on WIP will still give AJ a pass.

You're right Lyte, the playcalling (especially that run on 2nd down to Buck) was horrendous. Clean house time. Trade #5 and dump the fat man and start over. Corn Kolb is not the answer though

But only 4 of the 7 really effed the Eagles. That leaves three that were only MOSTLY detrimental.

And a big FOAD to FB for not realizing that this weather could not be conducive to the 70% passing ratio.

Come on aks, be fair. It wasn't a 70% pass ratio; I was only like 68%. That's perfectly acceptable given the weather.

Is there any game today that isn't being played in miserable weather? Kind of makes me feel guilty for enjoying the sunny, 80 degree weather here...

And it really makes me question FB's sanity when there isn't even one game that didn't have football weather.

At this point, does it really matter? They've pretty much blown the season. With 7 losses, they need to win 4 straight and get help with a shot at the playoffs. McNabb may come back next week, but he's not a savior. Let's see some of the young guys, and see what they can do.

Reid needs to get out of this town. He's done everything he can with them, and it's just not good enough. I just don't see who can come in and really turn this around, but the FO needs to figure out what's happening and realize that what they have isn't going to win. Injuries haven't been as bad as in previous years, and they did better then. Sure, NY and Dallas are playing much better this year, but this is likely going to be a losing season. Good coaches don't have losing seasons.

Haha...what a glorious fuck-up of a day for our resident "genius" Andy Reid.

Brand new sod.

Wintry mix.

Backup QB.

2nd best running back in football.

Huge run blocking offensive line.

Dominating running game.

All that adds up to 65% pass, 35% run. Not only that, but why are putting the game on the backup QB with Westbrook just sitting there and all that momentum?

Terrible.

Bad QB play, but I put this one (again) on the fat man. Get the fuck out of Philly and take your bullshit offense with you.

On a side note, I'm happy about the loss. Hopefully this is another nail in the coffin of the regime and gets everyone 1 week closer to seeing if Kolb has a future.

Good coaches most certainly can, and do, have losing seasons (in no way should my contrarian statement be viewed as anything even remotely close to defending or endorsing the fat man). But he does need to go, both because his ride (and McNabb's, for that matter) in this town is done and to deal with his family issues.

They got the precipice a few times, but never reached the apex and instead of wholesale rebuilding, they've keep some of the core, traded some and tried to bring in pieces that didn't fit in hopes of recapturing the magic. That formula almost never works.

BLOW IT UP AND SEND THEM ALL PACKING.

But Banner, Lurie et. al. will not fire Reid. And given the track record of this crew, odds are they'll bungle whatever it is they try to do with McNabb.

But at least Eli isn't the QB.

I want to say I'm happy about the loss, but I'm not sure that's exactly how I feel -- part of me is happy about it, but I don't think Reid will be forced out if he doesn't want to go. Even if they lose the rest of the schedule, I think his past success gives him a mulligan for one more year in the eyes of Lurie.

They won't fire Reid, but every loss should hopefully cause him some pain/embarrassment. I'm hoping that his failure as a coach combined with his failure as a parent will result in him deciding to step down at the end of the season.

I have no doubt he's a good coach, but he's stale, his "system" is a lead weight on this team, and the players he won with are gone or shells of their former selves.

He an organized guy who makes more right decisions than wrong ones. I believe he could turn around another franchise, but his time here is done in terms of productivity. DONE.

Dawkins is 50. Trot's done. There's no Hugh. McNabb's past his prime and rarely available after Halloween.

It's just over with.

I don't sit around and pray for losses, but I'd much rather have them finish 6-10 that 9-7 or 8-8. It's pointless.

First and foremost I must say how great is Westbrook!!! I just feel so bad for him, he single handed won this game, but of course you have to factor in the fat man, he could and probably does fuck-up wet dreams...

The game was all but over, NOT going to get into the bad play calling or HORRID clock management/sense of urgency, THEN the MVP of the team gives them a chance to pull ouy a win(which would have been a HUGE mistake they deserved to lose) So what does the "brain trust" that is the Eagles coaching staff do?!? put the game into the hands of the man that could/does win games for the team... oohhh wait no they didn't...

It's almost like Reid pulled a page out of the OLD Eagles playbook when we called them the cardiac kids, when they found ways to lose...

I'm just hoping they go 9-7 miss the playoffs and trade McNabb, then PRAY Reid steps down as Coach to tend to family... We need #5 to look good to have him worth anything, they've already won to many games to get one of the really good picks. so they either have to, you know what fuck them, I'm done with them...

Send me my robe, take the hold off my order...

Thank GOD for College football, luvin me my BUCKEYES!!! sitting at home and STILL get into the championship...
