Cons
- Streaky with accuracy
- Relies too much on athletic ability
- Could be a long term project in term of making NFL reads (because of his college system)

At first glance, I thought this was the pre-draft scouting report on McNabb. All that's missing is "Has issues with his blackness."

Who knows...

I just read his Yahoo Sports draft profile and it mentioned that he had serious problems with accuracy on long throws and later mentioned he quick release and short accuracy would make him a natural fit for the WCO.

Another BTW...I read that Houston's head coach and offensive coordinator both left for better jobs and left the team high/dry to prepare for their bowl game with an interim coach. That's gotta suck.

Don't forget "Not Hilarious", "Blogging Mother", and "only listens to early 90's hip hop artists with a rap sheet for child abuse".

I think Kolb is already +1 in:

-TD celebrations
-Family blogging
-Beard choices
-penchance to run

So I am on board with putting him either for the Saints game or the Bills. Supah 5 gets one more game for Childress or Lovie to decide how many picks they want give up to get him.

I am right with you Hulk.

I'd save Kolb for the Bills b/c I'd want his first start to be at home.

Dude doesn't want to namedrop yet prefaced it with "professional golfer". OK, sure.

I, for one, could care less what some PGA guy thinks of Kolb unless he plans on using his 9 iron to bash McNott and The Fat Man in their fucking faces.

BMA it is just tasteless to do that. Sorry.

With Reid and McKnobb I am honestly more bored than anything. I doubt I will watch the last two games.

When i thought Kolb may play the last game of the year i was more eager to watch.

Reid stating yesterday that McNabb is the QB the rest of the year has given me an early start on NCAA hoops watching in earnest.

If Kolb doesn't see the field this year, Reid should be assassinated for stupidity.

He has to be the most stubborn asshole on the planet.

Tavaris Jackson looked downright competent the last few weeks. Better than Supa 5, anyway. Not so sure the Vikings will be in the McNabb market.

I gotta wonder where in the hell Childress learned that strategy.

But that just furthers the point... why would that team trade any draft picks for a quarterback?

I hope Kolb gets a shot as well. Unlike pundits, I think he has a shot to be a great QB (as opposed to simply good). While the pundits didn't give him high marks coming into the draft, pundits aren't scouts. They're pundits, and they rarely get to watch enough college football game that they'll have a great grasp of low-profile players.
Looking into the FO assertion (mentioned earlier by bdelph), I actually watched some game tape of Kolb from Houston. He can run hot and cold, but usually, his passes were crisp and delivered on target and on time. His deep ball left something to be desired, but his short to intermediate range game looked absolutely solid to me. Everything reputable that I have read suggests the same.
Boller, on the other hand, was an inaccurate, one-year wonder who wowed scouts with his rocket arm as much as his game skills. He only started during his senior season, and he barely completed half his passes, then (53%). Drawing any comparison between Kolb and Boller seems absurd to me.

Was Boller the guy who was resting on one knee at mid field and throwing spirals through the uprights at one of his workouts for scouts?

I think I remember Leftwich saying something like "What the hell does throwing the ball 60 yards from your knees have to do with football. They don't let you throw from your knees"

A shame, because Leftwich throwing from his knees might have been better than him throwing on two feet.
