I know this is in hindsight- but watching the beginning of the Dallas game, I distinctly had the impression (imagined?) that McNabb was playing angry. I've always thought anger was a great motivator; this may be the best thing that could have happened for the remainder of his career.

My point Pam Oliver felt the need to also inject herself into the story initially with her conjecture. Mcnabbs actual comments were his knee is not an issue, he will win where ever he ends up. That was the extent of his "actual" comments. He never actually said anything about the team distancing themselves from him and so on. It was all her speculation.

Hulk, Pam Oliver has been reiterating that she in no way inferred anything from what McNabb said.

She said she used that wording to protect him a little bit from himself and refrained from reporting some of the more damning things he said.

She's basically saying she reported a toned down, diet version of what he said and did so to protect him. he's saying she made up the whole thing for no reason after being a friend to him and his family for over the past few years.

Just using logic and reasoning, I believe her over him because he has much more motivation to lie than she would.
