Saints in playoffs?...How?

In order for the Saints to make the playoffs they must win and have both Minnesota and Washington lose. That would place all three teams at 8-8, the same record the Eagles will have if they beat Buffalo. The Eagles will have head to head victories over all three teams (one loss to Washington). So I guess my question is, what tiebreaker am I missing here that eliminates the Eagles, but not the Saints? I was always under the impression that head to head was the first tiebreaker.

Head to head is only 2-way tie. Conference record breaks this one.

the shame is, the way the eagles are playing right now, they'd have a good chance of beating any of the other playoff opponents, none of them scare me
