It is pretty much safe to say that the Giants Pats game has the most national interest of any regular season game in a long time.
The game was supposed to be only on the NFL network and all the giants fans, majority of which are cablevision subscribers, were going to have to make plans to be able to watch the game.
Not any more. NFL network caved and now the game will be on CBS and NBC.
And the weather is supposed to be crappy.
There goes my tips...
...and yes it is all about me!

Sigh...funny.
The good news is that there are tons of tickets available online now for this game. Many a Giant fan is selling his season tickets because the weather will be yucky.

Depends where you live and which cablevision you have Dino. There are strange rules for what is considered home market.

According to nfl.com, "This will be the first three-network simulcast in NFL history and the first simulcast of an NFL game since the inaugural Super Bowl in 1967, when CBS and NBC televised the meeting of the champions of the newly merged National Football League and American Football League."
The over/under on people listinging to Bryant Gumbel? 1, and I'll take the under - I bet his mother listens to Greg instead.

Boston and NYC were getting the game on network (channel 9 and whatever in Boston). But the gme was NOT being broadcast on any network affiliate in Providence RI, which is about 20 miles from Foxboro.

That blows. I still might turn the sound down. Bryant Gumble really sucks.

Similar situation in the area of which I speak Thong.
It was a money making extravaganza for me and they took it away.

On second thought, I might not even watch:
The Giants don't/won't give a shit. If they do (play Burress, Jacobs, Pierce, etc.), they're nuts. And I think regardless of whether they play or not, NE will win easily. Vagiants plus 14.5? No thanks.
16-0 really means nothing. If they go undefeated in the regular season and then lose in the playoffs, they're gonna be thumpin their chest about a perfect season? I don't think so, Tim. If the Dolphins had gone 14-0 and lost to the Steelers in the AFC Championship, you wouldn't hear a peep about them today.

True. I was in North Carolina last Saturday and was hoping to get a local feed of Panthers-Cowboys. No dice. Apparently, living near Raleigh, North CAROLINA doesn't put you in the home market of the Carolina Panthers.
