TAT, EIDC, I am not saying that Gibbs lacks class.. I lived in DC during his first coaching stint even worked at the Dulles Airport Marriott which was the hotel the Skins stayed at before home games back then.
Gibbs and Vermeil shared many similarities in style of NFL life. My "loonie" comment and I should have clarified was not directed at the coaches but, other non-football positions within the organization.
For those who live in DC or who have lived in DC and root for other NFL franchises it can be comical and quite annoying to read everytime the season starts regardless of talent the "Skins are going all the way" in the Washington Roast or, "Jesus has been resurrected" everytime they hired a new coach after Gibbs left.
I don't miss the old Kornheiser "bandwagon" articles either.
