Been a while guys. Really has.

1st things first. I think we can all agree that this thread starter is a genuine loser.

Think about it. He made a MySpace to spam, then converted it to what I would call a complete dissapointment of a MySpace account.

I don't know which one is worse, this guys, or this guys....

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=100612732

Guys we go way back. I mean, some of the biggest threads on this board period involve myself and the DTC. Think of all the time you each have individually spent on watching DTC videos, reading DTC material, or veiwing DTC pictures.

For those that don't know, this is The Mayor of Fed Ex Field.

I don't know who gets the most joy out of this "relationship".

The Eagle fans that mock (yet monitor very closely) the DTC's every move, or me, who when bored googles the DTC and stumbles upon such threads of greatness like this one.

To clear a few things up.

Yes, the DTC gets down on gamedays. We drink a sh!t ton before most Redskin fans are awake and getting ready to leave for the game.

We have been doing this 6 years, every year gets better.

HBO contacted me personally, and I accepted the producers request, knowing well before what the story was about.

We were exactly what he needed, and I will take the HBO expousure all day.

Fox 5 (twice), NBC 4, ABC 7, Discovery Channel, and now HBO has been notched in the DTC belt.

Since the airing of the episode, ESPN has contaced me and we are currently working on a DTC themed segment for next season.

You guys can hate away on us. We don't give a damn, and we don't give a fuck.

If we did, we would have stopped in 2001.

Anyways, the reason you guys were not shown on the show, the producer was an Eagle fan born and raised in Philly.

Suprisngly enough, he was pretty nice.

Did you watch the second part of that about the Dolphins fan?

Sad.

I love beer and football as much as the next guy... but that piece really gets you thinking."

[GGB makes a brief Guest appearance in the Bledds]

I caught Real Sports over the weekend. Yes, that Dolphins thing as a real tearjerker but I still maintain that the real problem we have on the roads is not "Drunk Drivers" as much as "Bad Drivers" that are WORSE when they get drunk. I still advocate mandatory losing of a license over any accident, regardless of fault. I don't think the NFL quite needs to be demonized over this thing but I do advocate them having some more stringent control over the assholes that feel the need to make it an atmosphere where you cannot even bring a 13 year old kid to the game.

Many studies have proven time and time again that the level of impairment while driving is very similar between being drunk and talking on a cell phone.

This is a simple question, but why don't they put people who talk on cell phones behind bars if caught? It's been proven that driving while talking is more distracting than driving drunk. Tens of millions of people literally do it every single day. Shouldn't the law be the same if someone is caught with a phone on their ear? This is a serious question because as many of you know, I've been clean and sober on cell phones for some time.

People pretend drunk driving is a bigger sin than half the other stuff we do in the car (makeup, cell phones, lunch, BJs, volunteer firemen on the way to a report of smoke, etc.) but in reality they are all equally dangerous to the passengers and other people on the road.

You've all just been successfully sold the drunk driving marketing. It's bad. You shouldn't do it. The reality is it's no worse than anything else we do unless someone is rocking 4 times the legal limit.

While I hate people who drive while chatting away, oblivious to their surroundings- and agree they are a menace- I'd still rather encounter them on the open road than this guy...

And your ignorance is costing lives!

There were about 50,000 traffic accident fatalities in 2006 and about 13,000 involved someone who was legally drunk. Of those 13,000, I'm sure there were other mitigating factors (cell phones, text messages, distractions in the car) and there aren't any statistics I'm aware of determining how many of those fatalities were actually caused by the drunk driver.

That leaves about 38,000 deaths (or 78%) in fatal accidents occurring by other causes and I'd be willing to bet more 13,000 of those 38,000 deaths involved a cell phone.

Even those numbers are cooked, as they "estimate" whether or not the driver OR passenger was drunk and don't often have solid data. Beyond that, they do admit (as mentioned above) the presence of alcohol in no means alcohol had a thing to do with the crash.

Another great stat is the most current DUI arrest numbers from 2004. 1.4 million people in 2004 alone. That was 1 arrest for every 139 drivers in the country...in one year.

Considering the stats on how many people are out there driving drunk, you could argue drunk drivers might be the safest drivers around.

After catchin REAL SPORTS last nite, I have to agree with NEAG- They should absolutely ban beer sales in all stadiums- period, no exceptions (That means you, Luxury Suite inhabitants).

Now since we know that won't happen- how about advertised/publicized DUI Checkpoints at 50% of the games each season?

Nobody will know which games will have em, but all will have to be prepared to possible be goin through one upon leavin the stadium on ANY GIVEN SUNDAY.

Just the thought should be enuff to have the NORMAL beer fan on guard, as something tells me that an overwhelming percentage of fans in the Linc, would be considered a multiple offender of DUI should they be caught, and not being new to the process/money making racket that is- they are aware just how tougher the law is on those rackin up their 2nd DUI or beyond.

Great examples. 5 beers caused that accident...not he speeding maniacs, motorcycles, and chopper using flash photography and surrounding the vehicle at high speeds. Plus, the autopsy showed she STILL would have survived if she had a seatbelt on.

Stupidity trumps alcohol any day.
