Not really - the D showed marked improvement at the end of the year, and the middle of the line has been as solid as it's been in years, with plenty of potential and Bunkley finally playing like he wants to play.

Not to mention a linebacker corps not anchored by Simeneau. I don't stress about the Eagles defense. It's the offense that needs to be overhauled. The passing attack, specifically.

Right on. It seems like they dont get to the quarterback like they used to.

That should change though, because alot of these young dudes are getting more experience.

Speaking of Mcnabb, are you guys in favor of him being replaced by Kolb?

Right now it seems farfetched, but i think Kolb will be a better qb for the Eagles. Not in terms of atheletic ability, but like consistency.

That, and he isnt thin skinned.

Not yet. McNabb looked much better in the last few games. Granted the pressure was off but he was also coming off a major injury so we all should have expected him to be sub par at the beginning of the year. It seemed like everyone did during the offseason but once the season started everyone forgot about the "coming off an injury expectations."

Kolb is an unknown. I am not willing to give up a top 10 (still) QB for an unknown, at least not yet.

It does the old heart good to see Shockeysux and some regulars having some good spirited football discussion.
