At the risk of sounding nostalgic, the climate seems to echo the main players. After all, football, not to mention internet fan sites, just don't mean much to a father of two, compared to a kid in his early to mid twenties. While the Big99 and D-Sly days were certainly snarky, they'll never return because we wouldn't respond the same way. We'd respond much like we did to this trash. We'd get fired up for a little bit and then go back to being grumpy old men.
BTW, I missed out on much of the D-Sly stuff, but that EG dude was straight crazy. Any dude who takes arguments on the internet as an excuse to become a stalker needs serious help.
