Who'd befriend Matt McCoy?
HE'S A LIAR!!!!
(The DN said today that Lito's actually visited several teams over the week, in case he's moved to 1 on draft day- they wanted to confirm a clean bill of health).

- Dustin Fox
- Jeremy Bloom
I'm starting to think FB is racist, stupid, or racist AND stupid.

Yes, I will post it below and HOPE TO GAWD it show's with the "Yo,click it!" link and not the very vanilla "LINK" which is all ive seemed to get lately....
here's the blurb, story linked below.
As for the Sheppard saga, he remained a member of the Eagles for another day yesterday, although a league source said he had visited several teams and undergone physical examinations in case he is traded. Foxsports.com reported that he had visited the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The source said the Eagles had received some late-second-round offers but were still seeking something more.

I just heard Ray Diddy on 610 and he thinks that the Eagles will go O-line in the first round and believes that they are very high on Albert from UVA and that he would not be surprised to see them move up to get him and plug him in at LG this season.

Maybe the biggest roll of the dice in the draft, since taking him where they'd have to (10? 11?) would require him to play LT at some point in the future...a position he's played twice in college.

Reading up on him thinking that he could be their guy- Saw how the coaches had him originally as a tackle there but with Fergeson there they wanted to get him on the field and so Guard it was.
Seems like a Ried type guy if you believe all the stuff you read about him being a very strong leader, good character, etc.

He's intriguing, but I'm SHOCKED teams want to roll the dice on him to the point where he might be the second lineman drafted.
They say he's a natural LT. They say he might be the best LT prospect in the draft.
BUT he didn't play there. Winston Justice was supposed to be a natural projection to LT and now they think he can't make the switch.
If I'm inside their heads, the Eagles are probably thinking "He could be the best LT in the draft, but he can start right away at LG and would be an All-Pro there even if he busts at LT".
It's a safer bet, I suppose, but I think it;s a huge gamble to project a guy out of position like this with such a prime pick.
I mean, he hasn't seen a speed rusher since high school and you want him to go from that scrub to Demarcus Ware and Osi in 2 years?

That would be my thinking too, but who knows.
The combine is being replayed on NFL network right now and I just saw MM run his 40. 2 impressions: 1)He is skinny as hell, think Pinky plus 10 pounds and about 3 inches shorter. 2) He is s-l-o-w. Maybe he's just a guy that plays faster than he times, but he looked bad.

wrong thread.
For their first this year, the Birds get Carolina's 2 and 4 this year and 1 next year.
It's hard to get excited about draft picks.

Of course, we have the thrill of victory and the agony of having to see fans' stupid opinions about the deal.

If the Eagles do not use the picks acquired from this trade to get Williams or Boldin, they are the most arrogant, dillusional franchise in the NFL. The team was last in the division and has not infused a 1st round talent in 2 years.
Lets hope they have something else cooking.
TB and Arizona have both gotten their CB. The market for Lito is shrinking.
If they can get Vrown from the saints for lito and a vet WR, it will be a great deal.
If not, they have made a great move for the future, but a terrible, backstabbing move for #5 and now.

Thank GAWD the Eagles are so completely set at every position that they don't need to draft anyone, or this draft would be irritating me right now. Maybe their philosophy lies in the fact that they haven't been able to draft for a position of need in so long that they no longer wish to draft anyone for fear of failure?!?

Larenzo Booker???? WTF is going on with the Eagles. If your going to do this, WHY even bother keeping McNabb around this year? This is one weird draft.

Didn't you guys read this year's rule changes?
Page 3, 4th paragraph.
Rule 19.3.56.a: A team will be able to trade in twenty (20) draft picks for a three-week postseason bye and advance directly into the Super Bowl.
Only a few more picks needed! Keep trading down, superstars!
