They didn't think there was anyone in the top 45 picks that could possibly help them on offense.
This draft is disgusting.

One more losing season and then it'll be 3 in the last 4 years. Reid did NOTHING to get this team better. The team had depth and needed playmakers. Can a mormon be possessed by a demon?

They CAN'T EVEN KEEP ALL THESE FUCKING PICKS. Reid is clearly too stupid to be GM. He's questionable as a head coach. Jizus EFFIN' KRIEST!

Heckert said they had 12-15 candidates and that they felt pretty confident they would get someone at 19. And that they felt there was a lot of, I mean a lot of value in the middle rounds.
So all their likes got taken and now they are trying to drop to the middle rounds.
I think their grading system is now exposed to be flawed.
There is no way they fit this many extra players on the team. Spuds and Merill? Reese on Eagles Live are at a loss.

Section, if they are lucky, they'll be soooo trashed they won't even know that they traded away pick after pick after pick.

Ox,
Heckert said 12-15. I can't imagine that he realistically thought Glen Dorsey or whatever would be available at 19. Morever, Jeff Otah was a solid player available. They didn't need Matt Ryan or Darren McFadden or Jerod Mayo (maybe they might have). I mean, I find it hard to believe they didn't like ANYONE at 19.
My hope is that through the stockpiling, they give Detroit 6 picks for Roy Williams. Please, let it be true.

Good pick for this one. Video of Jackson looks solid and he's a return man.
But shock of shocks - he's 5'9".

They can if they sit on another midget WR's shoulders and break the press coverage "chicken fight" style.

I still can't believe they let all those offensive players go by and then their first pick is a DT from ND.
FKN joke.
At least now with Jackson they might have a PR.
Bye Bye Reno.

Anyone think they are just trying to save money???
Is there anyone left who DOESN'T think this? It's been obvious now for some time that this team only cares about the money (yearly salary cup champions), and these last two years of the draft have made it painfully obvious.
Until people stop coming to the games, they will change nothing. They care not about winning, just about being competitive while raking in the bucks.

And they know that ain't gonna happen. They know we will keep coming back year after year after year. And the fans take it up the tailpipe while their wallets get emptied.
Guess that's why I get rid of my season tickets years ago.

Jules, you couldn't possibly think Kelly was going to drop to their next pick. You're as delusional as FB if that's true. :-)
Why in the hell they didn't take Kelly and DeSean with both their picks this round is beyond me.
Gotta have more fastballs!

They will struggle being competitive if they sit pat like they always do. The Skins got a huge WR in Thomas. So, now the Birds have the smallest secondary and an ancient playing safety.

Reid on press conference: "The 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th rounds have a lot of talent in there and we wanted to make sure we had enough picks to make sure we could get a lot of them."
I wish I was joking.
