That would be "a fastball" and i'd bet he has a 'high motor" as well.

Smith is vastly undersized for a defensive end, so teams will look to run at him and exploit that weakness when he?s on the field. As a result, he?s probably never going to be an every-down player. However, he has the instincts, initial quickness and athletic ability to develop into a solid situational pass-rusher.

The Giants are having another nice draft. I'd be willing to bet that Maningham ends up being a better WR than Jackson, but I'm rooting for the little guy.

231? How is he supposed to match up against guys that in some cases are 100lbs more than he is?

I'm thinking the training department better invest heavily in the steroids, otherwise this year's draft is a bust.

NTFF! It did look just like one of Webster's suits.

The big hit on Jackson is his size, but to compare him to Pinkson is reaching. Todd weighed the same or lighter than Jackson and had three (3) full inches of height on him. He was a straight line runner, that could spread defenses and drop balls (in his mouth). He had track speed, not football speed.

Jackson has 'explosive' speed, can return (meaning he can actually make people miss). He has much better hands than Pinkson did, and has football speed, meaning the quickness to get seperation.

Just don't line him up so someone can jam him. Make him the motion WR so someone can't hit him every play and I think it's a huge upgrade for the slot WR.

BTW, Bryan Smith is 6'2", 228 lbs. and 25 years old.

What a fucking zero for the 3rd round. He was listed as the 15th ranked outside linebacker on NFL Draft Countdown (which isn't a great site, but provides a point of reference).
