Yes, these troll infestations are a tricky piece of business. Even the mere mention of not feeding them feeds them.

Another interesting trait of these trolls is the almost irresistible urge to have the last word. In fact, the only time that can resist this urge is when they are accused of having said urge, at which point some of them can control themselves enough to prove you wrong. This then creates a real dilemma when they realize that the only way that others will know that they proved you wrong is if they point it out, at which point they are again trying to have the last word. Trollologists continue to study this fascinating phenomenon.

I'd like to share my thoughts on how to identify trolls, but they are very off topic from the original thread. So, I started a new thread in a more appropriate location:
