In the spirit of the "Layer Movement" and "Suppliments" threads- I give you 2008's schedule thread under the header of "2009".

Ugh.

Oh, good. I just love when the Eagles have home games vs. the Jets in the pre-season, and all the Eagles fans I work with try to give me a "great deal" on tickets because "this is your chance to see the Jets!" What sweethearts.

- So...5 prime-time games (including Thanksgiving).

- Week 7 bye is nice.

- 3 of final 4 games against NFC East.

- Good chance at a 1-2 start, which isn't fun.

- Zero back to back home games (only one back to back trip).

- 2 west coast trips, but they have a bye in between them, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Honestly, I hate that (as a fan) - I prefer my football on Sunday afternoon.

You forget that Andy never puts players in position to make plays during the first game of the year. 15-1.

I like that they open and close at home. Can't remember the last time that happened. I also like the no back to back road games. The split of games is pretty favorable at first glance.

Haha... the one game I planned to go to, vs. Cleveland, is a Monday nighter on December 15. Might be re-evaluating those plans.

"Enjoy that T-giving night game against the Redbirds, season ticket suckers."

Oh surprise, Spuds loves it. "A short week for the Eagles after the Baltimore game at least has them at home as the Cardinals have to come across the county and lose a day of preparation to play on Thanksgiving night on the NFL Network. Love it. Love it. Love it. While it's a short week for both teams, the Eagles don't have travel problems and can maximize their preparation hours, and on the other end it gives the Eagles a couple of extra days to get ready for a gigantic road game against the Giants on Sunday, December 7."

Jerkoff. Could you be any more of a FO cheerleader? Putting a positive spin on me ruining family Thanksgiving plans. Hopefully my lawyer can go to the game with me.
