but if it did, what would be the consequences ??
what-if after 6/1, and teams are able to make trades with less cap hit for this yr, the guy who gets traded/traded for isnt lito, or chad, or roy williams, but mcnabb.
once more, the eagles get offered a trade they cant refuse, and get the bears' # 1 and # 3 in '09, and their # 2 in '10 in exchange for mcnabb.
now, they're sitting on 3 # 1's next yr, and 2 # 3's. and 2/ 2's in '10.
without mcnabb's cap value, they are able to lock up bwest and keep lito happy too.
not saying i want this to happen, or think its a good thing. just havin some fun when football talk sucks

I love Westbrook on the Eagles, don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure you want to lock him up any further. Great backs just don't last that long; that's why it's so important to win with him now.

Wow!!! 3 chances to trade down out the 1st round. I can't wait to see the plethora of undersized players they can parlay those picks into.

Sadly, NTFF...and not far from the mark.
Could you imagine how much building with the future could be done with those picks, which would be traded for more picks?

Maybe their goal is to keep trading until they lock up every other pick in th 2026 Draft.
