Hall of Famer Sammy Baugh died at 94.

The guy sounded like quite a character, and obviously, he was one helluva player in his day. It's hard to believe that he still holds the record for punting average

I also didn't realize that his is the only number Washington has retired.

I guess their ring of honor isn't for retiring numbers.
Yo, click it

Puttin this in here-

Reggie Brown- UGH.

Asked why he thought he'd fallen behind Jason Avant and Baskett -- who lack Brown's speed and smoothness, but have seemed more inclined to fight through defenders and awkwardly thrown passes to make catches -- Brown said: "I don't know. That's a question you can ask Reid. Then maybe you can come back down here and tell me. 'Cause I don't know. I don't get answers."

I really don't think Reggie is a bad player. He was too old, for one. I hate drafting 24 year old players because they are out there playing against 18- 22 year olds and I'm conmvinced it makes it harder to scout them. How do you judge their talent and upside when they have critical years of dody development on the guys they are playing against? McDougle was another overaged draft pick. Bryan Smith is the latest.

It's almost the same as drafting some of those guys who are really young...you might get a Merriman who hasn't quite come into his own yet, or you might get a guy who is what he is.

With Brown, though, I think he and McNabb just aren't ever on the same page. The offense looks worse when he's out there and while he's far from ideal, he's looked better with other QBs. For whatever reason, he and McNabb just don't mesh.

Before: Greg White | After: Stylez G. White

The Effect: Jury's out until White plays at least one game as Stylez. The Buccaneers defensive end picked his new name in honor of Rupert "Stiles" Stilinksi -- Michael J. Fox's 'Teen Wolf' sidekick.

This is what happens when you give someone who's never had anything a big trunk full of money.

Not to defend Reggie here, but it would actually be nice if Reid talked to his players once in a while. Let them know where they stand.

Belicheat may be a prick to the media, but at least he talks with his players, and gets them to buy into what he's trying to accomplish.

Guess FB figures the players should be just like his kids and know what to do without having him tell them. Yeah, that worked out well.

Funny how, in some small way, Buddy Ryan (by way of his son Rex) had a hand in closing out Texas Stadium with a loss.

Wade Phillips is sooooooooooo gone & rightfully so.

Here comes the Jason Garrett era.

"DeAngelo Williams, 2008" is in on the first ballot if they ever make a fantasy sports Hall of Fame.
