That'd be freakin' HILARIOUS. And I wonder if Akers would ask to be traded to Minny.

Childress is saying Frerotte's the starter for the rest of the season, barring injury.
That thud you just heard was the Vikings Super Bowl dreams hitting the wall.

Asked today what he thought of the way the Lions played yesterday at San Francisco, William Clay Ford Jr. said, “It was an embarrassment, the fans deserve better, and if I had the authority, I would have fired the general manager.”
At what point do you realize that your GM is a nimrod?

At what point do you realize that if you own the team, you have the authority to fire anyone who works for you?
I think we now know why Millen has survived so long. Amazing.

Yeah.
Despite talk from fans, media, AND HIS OWN SON, Sr. still keeps Millen employed. His record is absolutely horrible.

Bulger gets benched in favor of Green.
Like changing captains after hitting the iceberg.

Certainly Trent will not get injured behind STL line... I mean he couldn't stay healthy behind that mammouth line in KC circa 2004... I hope he has aflac.

It could possibly give them a short term jolt, but the idea that the problems with this team can be corrected by a QB change is hysterical.

I know it's early, but they have a legit chance of going 0-16. That team has zero heart.

What does a guy like Steve Jackson do in this predicament? He seems like he has heart, when no one else does. How long does he continue to try hard? He has got to be thinking to himself; I finally reported to camp... for this?

Rams won't go 0-16 unless they keep the coach for the year.

can anyone remember a team as all around terrible as the 2008 rams?
even with the raiders the last few years you could say their D was passable.

The 2002 Bengals were a team that quit before their season started

Kiffin still isn't fired yet.
Is this a case where Davis is keeping him on to keep him from going anywhere else? He's twisting in the wind.

I think Washington will get a nod after the next two weeks....
Dallas and Philly......
They are not as good as the papers and TV are making them out to be...

I don't think anyone is making Washington out to be anything other than the 4th best team in the NFC East. That said, the NFC East is undefeated outside of the NFC East.

The Eagles did what they had to do- split those games with Dallas and Pittsburgh, and beat The Rams.
It's a cake walk to the Superbowl from here
