Honestly, if the Eagles DO make it to the Super Bowl, regardless of who the opponent may be, they will surely be HUGE sentimental favorites...

After all that has gone down this season, unless you live within 100 miles of Pittsburgh or Baltimore, I think most of the U.S. would be cheering for the Eagles or Cards. The only thing that might not play out in their favor is that the Phillies did just win a World Championship, thus some fans might want to "spread the wealth a little" - but I doubt it - NOBODY wants to see the Steelers win again, that's for sure. Either way, the NFC appears to have captured the hearts of the Collective Football Nation this year...

It would just be TOO awesome...just imagine the Steelers and Eagles...and as a BONUS - SPRINGSTEEN at Halftime!! This is stuff of which only dreams and late night fantasies are made!! But let's not count our chickens...!!!!
