because that city’s murder rate has escalated (or skyrocketed), while New York’s went downward. Is it too obvious to say that New York has had strong leadership while Philly had John Street?

I see what you're saying, Street INVITED all the killers from NY to Philly, dam he is a nice guy... helpin NY out like that...

and by the way how dare you speak ill of Street, he was only doing what Obama is doing now, just on a smaller, city scale... reward the ones that got you elected... so whats wrong with that???

Take it to the concourse, big city elitist hippie. hehe. I mean fu man chu guy. That is you, right?

Yeah, that's me-- on all fronts.

Dear God, Tat. If you had a fully-functioning brain, you'd be dangerous.

Feel free to go to the concourse to explain how Barack Obama is the same as John Street. If you get past "they're both black and they're both Democrats," I'll be really impressed.

Cowboys Stadium has a gigantic 60 foot by 90 foot HD screen that hangs over the field, and Tennessee's punters hit it multiple times in warmups and once during the game.

Guys are gonna be hitting this all season long. I wonder if anyone can punt hard enough to break it.
Yo, click it

Roger Goodell tells Jerry to raise the screen or sell the franchise.

Yo, click it.

Won't be clicking that.

The whole concept of a do-over is laughable. The ST players would be gassed.

Gotta love it. I guess these kinds of things are bound to happen, but Jerry acting as though it isn't a problem/doesn't need to be fixed is hilarious.

Roy Williams hurts his shoulder in practice. Rumors say he broke his collarbone.

As if the Dallas offense wasn't hurting enough without Owens...

Bad for Williams and very bad for the Cowboys. Their WRs were a question mark before he got hurt and they are a travesty now.

The slowly simmering Brandon Marshall has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

Apparently he walked through warm-ups yesterday, was slapping balls to the ground instead of acthing them, and punted a ball he caught during a drill.

He called in an "error in judgement" today.

No word on how long the suspension will last, but you have to think it's just a matter of tiem with this guy...

The NFL has come out and said no tweeting will be allowed during games, but on tonight’s Ochocinco broadcast on UStream, the wide receiver (and kicker) announced a creative way to get the job done that should also be a big win for some of his fans.

Ochocinco says he’ll soon launch a contest, in which he’ll select one of his followers each week, fly them to the Bengals game, and work out hand signals so he can have them update his Twitter (Twitter) account while he’s on the field. The result will be Ochocinco tweets during the game that don’t technically violate the NFL’s policy of no cell phones during competition.

now that's fucking funny.

Speaking of the 'Girls, the league has adopted the 'do over' idea in case a punt hits that huge screen.

Wonder how long this will last.

It's only a matter of time before the Lions have a 6 foot ceiling to even the playing field.

Seriously, will they call it a personal foul when the punter kicks the screen 40 times in a row? Eventually it'll crack, right?

Maybe I'm just wrong, but Haley seems like a coach who will wear out his welcome very, very quickly.

In a very short period of time, he's managed to do battle with his brand new franchise QB (before the ink was even dry on his contract), his #1 WR, last season's first round pick (Dorsey), and he's canned his offensive coordinator less than 2 weeks before opening day?

If he has success over the next coupel years, I guess he's a genius. It just seems like he might be trying too much, too soon. Kinda reminds me of Mangini in that sense.

I agree. My first thought was, "Man, this guy Haley's gotta be a colossal dick. No wonder he's from the Belichick tree."

Of course, he's probably more than capable of running the offense, so I'd imagine that's his plan. Chan Gailey was just playing the role of Rod Dowhower.
