Roman Oben brought up an interesting point about black free agents not being overly eager to work for Rush Limbaugh.
Whether or not the guy is a racist is irrelevant because if black players perceive him to be one, Limbaugh may be forced to give Reid some serious competition for the Mormon free agents, which means the Eagles might actually be forced to sign athletes instead of high character players. link

I don't think the NFL would eever allow Limbaugh to get into the league. I think he's just be too controversial for them and the other owners would block it.

I hear what you're saying, but you need to consider that you have a lot of owners (probably the vast majority) who are die-hard Republicans who likely worship the guy.
Offhand, I can't think of any of these billionaires who are radical, bleeding heart liberals.

I read something that 75-80% of NFL political money went to McCain. Lurie, Kraft and Rooney are the exception

Rooney was a lifelong Republican who switched sides for Obama.
Kraft and Lurie are from Boston, so that explains the Democrat connections.
I just can't see either of them making a valid and persuasive argument to keep Limbaugh out of the league. Rooney would effectively be disqualified from the conversation because he now works for the Obama administration.

Neag- all black people know the threats against us, it's a habitual thing called self-preservation...
If they are black and don't know who Rush Limbaugh is, they are not from America...maybe from Liberia

NFL’s Top 10 tailgating towns
The fan intensity also runs high for the crowd in the parking lot at Lincoln Financial Field, in Philly.
“The Eagles fans’ passion always impresses me,” Cahn says. “They might be the fans who are most knowledgeable about their team.”

Coaches that should be on the hot seat:
Zorn (losing to Carolina? When they were up 10-2 at halftime?)
Jauron (no excuse losing to the lowly Browns at home when your offense can't even muster up a TD.....not even more than 3 points?)
Give passes to Spags (oh MAN is that team bad) and Haley (though they played Dallas tough and should've won it.....hard to lose a game on two missed tackles).

To give you an idea of why Jauron should be fired RIGHT NOW, here are some stats from that game:
Anderson: 2/17, 23 yds, 0TD, 1INT. TWENTY THREE YARDS! A 15.1 passer rating. That's embarrassing on so many levels.
Cleveland - 193 TOTAL yards.
Leading receiver was Marshawn Lynch - 6 catches for 56 yards.
Just a bad, bad game. Buffalo should be offering refunds after that mess.

How'd U like to have seen that game and actually paid for a ticket.
At least we have the wildcat.
This year the NFL in general is filled with bad teams.
10 teams I can mention right off the bat.

I'll save you the trouble, section (in no particular order):
Rams
Bucs
Raiders
Chiefs
Browns
Bills
Redskins
Titans
Panthers
Dolphins
Lions (though they're improving)
Wow, that's a lot of bad teams. I can't remember a bigger chasm between the good and the ugly. And it's not like there's a lot of average teams, either.

Isn't this a great thing? Screw parity. I like knowing who is good and who isn't from week to week. Makes it seem like the NFL isn't just a series of glorified coin flips.

When players really suck, can the Media stop using those 'gimick' nicknames that the player or someone in college gave them thinking that they'll be a great player? Because after today Carnell Williams shouldn't really be referred to after a large car, unless you're talking about the slow, old clunker that just got handed in for Cash for Cars. At this point, I'm sure Tampa'd rather have that $4,500 that that waste of a roster spot sucking up salery.
