Was anyone surprised that Grossman fizzled out with the game on the line? Anyone?

A co-worker of mine told me some interesting news tonight.

One of his close friends is very close with Jason Garrett and has actually worked with him at the professional level. He said that Jerry Jones is very close to firing Wade Phillips and giving the reins to Garrett for the season. At this point, Phillips is nothing but a figurehead down there and Garrett does all the work on offense anyway.

Don't be surprised if Phillips is canned within the week.

I wouldn't put your money on the Jags over the Lions just quite yet..

Agree about Tennessee. The difference is I still don't think they have a snowball's chance in hell of going undefeated, whereas I was really afraid the Pats would be 19-0. Still wish they had beat the Vagiants 49-0 though.
