I know this has already been touched on in another thread... not trying to break any news here. I posted a banner on the home page and want to link to this thread.
Simply providing a thread to offer well wishes, words of encouragement and perhaps even thanks to a guy who has been giving the fans his best for a decade.
JJ made Jeremiah Trotter into a stud, when he was nothing in Emmitt Thomas' defense. He loved Dawkins and elevated his game to a Hall of Fame level and brought out the best in countless others.
Here's hoping the guy can win another battle.

He will go down as one of the best defensive coordinators, a guy who gave many sleepless nights to offensive coordinators around the NFL.

Consistently the best at what he does. Love what you did for the franchise JJ. The defense has always been the best foot forward of this team.
Here's to wishing you luck and health. Will miss you and want to acknowledge your courage still coaching in the box when the team needed you. Now, please do what YOU need to do. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Everyone has a different way of handling bad news ... and I mean "JJ you have cancer" bad news, not "the Eagles didn't get a No. 1 wide receiver again" bad news.
Some people get very solemn, some resort to humor, others get angry.
At this point I think it would be safe to say that any real Eagles fan -- like the kind that make this site a second home; whether kool-aide drinker or front office hater -- is sorry to hear about JJ and are totally in his corner.
