This is like Pedro. WHo cares if it doesn't work.

KB, your dad a jersey wearer?

Not really, b/c this is a need position. If Pedro didn't work out it didn't matter b/c they could just leave Moyer in there. They already Trotter as depth and to play, the Phils had to make room for Pedro

You can't really use just tackles of a sign of anything, though. That defense was on the field all the time last year, and we don't know where he made the majority of his tackles. He probably made most of them on RB's 6 yards over the line of scrimmage

Yeah, tackles and INTs can be misleading stats. Tackle just means he got there, but it was probably after the first down was gotten.

Agreed on systems and stuff, but Dhani wasn't very good. A system can mask your limitations to a point, but sooner or later you're going to get exposed.

I still wear a jersey to games and don't think there's anything wrong with it!

Oh, I know. I just don't get it.

I don't wear a jersey to shop for groceries or on casual Friday, but when I'm hanging out in a parking lot with 60K people, there's a marching band rolling by, music's blaring, grills are fired up, and yard games are in full swing, I don't feel like it's out of place.

I wouldn't even wear an Eagles hat in my day to day life, but the games are a different story.

i'm with neag on this. there's just something stupid about wearing a team jersey in any situation, unless you're playing or a really hot female.

i would think people who despise when fans refer to the team as "we" would understand this.

Come on...

Big difference between "we" and wearing a jersey to a game.

I don't know if I'd always wear a jersey to games for the rest of my life, but I like throwin' the Carmichael on, getting shitfaced, and yelling a few times per year.

I just think it's funny that a pair of wranglers and an authentic B-dawk jersey is likely the most expensive outfit many people own.

I just like to mock and made snide comments to my bf about other people there

Is it okay to wear a t-shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket with your favorite team’s logo? If so, what the hell is the difference between wearing a t-shirt and a jersey?

No one here is advocating wearing shoulderpads, spikes, or a cup on gameday.

Is it permissible to clap politely when your team does well or even slightly raise your voice in frustration when their play is less than stellar?

You seem to be making the point that people who wear jerseys have no life. If that’s the case, that category should also include people who go online to bitch about a manager’s use of the pitching staff following a victory that has his team one win away from the playoffs.

as long as its retro-style, faded and fairly tight-fitting. black, plastic eye-glass frames and beat-up tretorns compliment this look nicely.

If so, what the hell is the difference between wearing a t-shirt and a jersey?

wearing a jersey makes it look like you want to jump into the game. you should be dressed to drink. plus, you probably paid too much for your jersey, making one look like a sucker for the NFL marketers, and that your trying too hard. not cool.

No one here is advocating wearing shoulderpads, spikes, or a cup on gameday.

your restraint is encouraging.

Is it permissible to clap politely when your team does well or even slightly raise your voice in frustration when their play is less than stellar?

yep, being really into your team is awesome. it's dressing up in the team uni that's gay. was my position on that unclear, talon?

You seem to be making the point that people who wear jerseys have no life.

nope, just making the point that people wearing jersey's look a little silly. except you; you're one of the few who makes it look good.

If that’s the case, that category should also include people who go online to bitch about a manager’s use of the pitching staff following a victory that has his team one win away from the playoffs.

actually, i made the comment during the game, not after. you must have had your mcnabb on a little tight last night, bud.

I will admit it is tough to clap politely during a football contest with a nice cabernet in one hand, and a piece of baguette with brie in the other

wearing a jersey makes it look like you want to jump into the game.

One look at my physique (or lack thereof) as well as my bloodshot eyes and it's rather obvious that I have no desire to jump into any game that doesn't involve a circle and a two-foot glass bong.

you should be dressed to drink.

And that's exactly why I always wear a matching Eagles bib along with my Supah 5 sippy cup.

plus, you probably paid too much for your jersey

C'mon, flesh. You know what tribe I'm in. Ain't no way you're ever gonna catch me in a full-priced authentic jersey, aside from the Hextall I've been sporting since 1996 (and will continue wearing until it's so threadbare that it barely covers my nipples).

just making the point that people wearing jersey's look a little silly. except you; you're one of the few who makes it look good.

Thanks, pal, but you'd have to admit that the jersey would look lame without the sound of AC/DC blasting in the background.

Think the last jersey I wore was a Bernie Parent Flyers jersey back in 1980.

Wore it to carnival in South Carolina one night and some hick came up to me and said, "Excuse me sir, that is a nice shirt." I said thanks and asked him if he was a Flyers fan?" He said "No sir, but I am a parent of two kids."
