DeSean Jackson has fired his agent, DeBartolo Sports, and has signed on with the devil, I mean, Drew Rosenhaus. Jackson has already outperformed his contract and is underpaid so we all know the shark is going to be bellying up to the bar and looking for a mega deal. It has to be quite obvious to Reid/Banner and the rest of Team Gold Standard that they need to open up the vault for this cat and pay him, right? Right?

I wouldn't think this is very good news. He's firing his agent 1 year after he was drafted and is bringing in the biggest dick in the pro football to represent him.

That probably means two things:

1. He wants megabucks already.
2. The Eagles have already told him "no".

An off-hand comment was made (I can't remember where) that McNabb threw the ball to him less because of his attitude. McNabb has it ingrained in his head to spread the ball around, so I don't believe that. I DO believe that he might have been open at least a couple of times.

They better pay #10 whatever he wants.

I wouldn't go quite that far. With the uncapped year potentially coming up, there's a lot to consider.

The fact that the Eagles haven't extended anyone this season means they must be keeping the safe closed until they figure out what the fuck is happening.
