So now F-d is giving T.O. grief for speaking the truth...again. First it was the Superbowl, now this.

When you gon' stop drinkin all that Haterade, f-d?

Mist be tough for him to tweet with all those Super Bowl Rings clanging together.

Oh, wait...

Not a big deal, I guess...he's only played 15 seasons with 5 different franchises and about a dozen QBs. I'm sure he'll get the mix right eventually.

FD, TO's bitter that the only time he was on a team that got it together long enough to get to the superbowl, he feels that McNabb failed to hold it together to win.

Let's face it, it wasn't like he was going to win one in Buffalo and the downside of the 49'ers with Garthia. He could be all over Dallas more than Philly for not winning one but he wasn't there very long. A lot of people were up on Cincy and if they had a legit Oline they would probably have an inverted record and could push for a chance.

He has been on shitty teams, and McNabb/Romo are the best QB's he's had. Neither has a reputation for being a playoff QB, but both are 'winners'.

I definately don't think TO's blameless but at the same time he's been on a lot of bad teams. From the looks of it, he seems to be the most together player on the Bengals this year (which isn't saying much).

I'd say the balances weigh more towards TO than McNabb in being a team player.

Per PFT:

T.O. claims his brother posted the anti-Donovan Twitter message

Posted by Mike Florio on November 16, 2010, 6:30 PM EST

On the last episode of As the T.O. Turns, Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb responded to former teammate Terrell Owens‘ Monday night Twitter message, which questioned McNabb’s $78 million contract in light of his three-interception performance.

As it turns out, T.O. claims that his brother posted the message in question.

Says Owens: “LOL!! I c my brother got all yall riled up w/his question about McNabb’s contract! He’s entitled 2 his opinion!”

T.O. is right. His brother is entitled to his opinion. And his brother should express his opinion on his own Twitter page. Any messages that appears on T.O.’s “Verified Account” are presumed to be T.O.’s words.

Under T.O.’s warped view of reality, anything appearing on his Twitter page can be brushed off as something posted by anyone who has access to his account.

Actually, it’s possible that T.O. posted the message about McNabb — and that T.O.’s brother was the one who posted the message about “my brother [getting] yall riled up.”

It’s also possible that T.O. and his “brother” are the same person. It would explain some of his behavior over the past five years.

So it looks as if Danny Boy isn't as dumb as he appeared. Allegedly Mcnabb's contract is only guaranteed for 3.5 mil and the skins can cut him before next season with no compensation. Allegedly.

what's sad is that paid columnists like philly's own "gonzo" writes a whole piece about how stupid the skins are for guaranteeing mcnabb 40 million.

another in a long line of offenses in which both writer and editor should be terminated. from the earth.

Is anyone worse than "Gonzo"? He sucks hairy nutsack and I think it's kind of a character he plays (the KPL Philly fan) in most cases, but whenever someone links a story from him I know it's going to make bold, absurd predictions or be reactionary.

agreed on all counts, f-d. he's probably the worst writer in philly (worse than smiff), and he is likely playing a character.

but he is just rank.

Smiff has been back writing columns for the Inquirer, although he's not a regular these days.

Gonzo was a brilliant hire, and this is why:

Newspapers online are all about traffic, and everything this guy does generates traffic. Even if someone is linking his piece to say "Look at the stupid thing this guy said today," his stuff gets tons of hits. He purposefully stakes out asinine positions for this reason, and it works.

Sadly, this turns a stately old paper like the Inquirer into TMZ, but this is the world we live in.

I know McNabb isn't having a very stellar year to say the least but I was actually shocked to read that he is now the 29th ranked QB and is DEAD LAST in the NFL in 3rd down completions.

Not a bad article by Sally Jenkins in the Post...

the contract is totally in the redskins favor. I'm actually surprised Mcnabb signed it. Essentially he can be cut the day before the season starts, not training camp, but the actual season. He can be cut and the skins will owe him nothing. The only thing they gave up was 3.5 mil this year.

It would be pretty hard to catch on with another team at that point in anything but a back-up roll. Maybe he would retire at that point?

I really don't think anyone will want McNabb next year, short of the Raiders and *maybe* the Cardinals, although I think they'll be drafting a QB and rebuilding. In order for that to change, McNabb's going to have to have at least a couple of impressive games before this season ends. Right now, he has no one on this team to cover for his repeated mistakes, and he's being exposed.

He's just not very good anymore, and if his slide continues, it won't be long before he's considered to be flat-out terrible.
