PT, would Philip Hunt qualify for your list? Even though he was signed from the CFL. He had a slow start but has been making plays as of late. Undersized but has heart. Unfortunately too many on this team are undersized, and the Bears exploited that quite well.
Barney, you make a valid point about Hunt being included as a veteran acquisition because the NFL considers him a 1st year player rather than a rookie (I don't know the difference; perhaps he played pro instead of college). Except for the sack/safety I haven't noticed much of Hunt - nice first impression with a 2 point sack.

Obviously Jenkins and Babin were good acquisitions, the Eagles got two starting CBs, and Mathis turned out to be serviceable. I don't know where they found him, Derek Landri turned out to be a nice addition. Young, Brown, Smith were one-year mercenaries and all 3 likely out of football after 2/29.
