Agree that on pure likability and "being memorable" I go with Randall over Donnie. I also think youth plays a role... The 10-11 year old ENY remembers Cunningham hurdling the Packers into the end zone, the play vs. Buffalo, etc... I was oblivious to his off-the field exploits, which I can't say with regards to McNabb.

while i enjoyed the others you mentioned, i cant rightfully place any in the top 20 over past 2 decades.

No Mike Quick, no Barnett, no Keith Jackson, no William Thomas, no Vincent?

I like how people look at me strange when I tell them I'd prefer Randall over McNabb.

"What has Cunningham won?"
"Same as McNabb. And I'll remind you Randall played in an era where the SB champ was usually coming out of the NFC East or San Fran"

Randall > McPukeyRib

If i were to just look at numbers id agree w/ you- and longevity is whatd put him over 12

but i cannot get over what a douchey mommas boy 5 was is, let alone the McMartyr crap.

I will not get over anytime soon how McNabb helped to ruin a combo in him and TO that could've been dominant for years. Yes, TO is nuts and yes, he did his part as well, but TO's acting like, well, TO

Didn't Jerome die before the '92 season? And Randall can't be on there if we're only talking >'92 either.

Who else you gonna choose from that time period? Bobby Hoying? Rodney Peete? Ty Detmer?

It's like choosing between pails of dishwater

Didnt take his play book?

Had to play V Dallas.

Looked a mess???

Seth - you must really hate McNabb if you're going to put a dead guy and a washed up QB ahead of him. I know he was annoying and all, but damn.

Its not about 'numbers' per se.

Jerome was far more of an eagle great than McRib ever was.

Cmon man.

Brown only played 5 years and made two pro-bowls

There's also that little matter of killing a 14 year old by driving like a dickhead.

Doesn't make the list, hell I'd put William Thomas ahead of him

Another guy who doesn't deserve to be on that list is Trotter

Aside from his untimely death, my lasting memory of Jerome Brown is the way Tecmo Super Bowl turned a 305-lb. DT into a 3-4 MLB with blinding speed.

WOW this site has changed since the days of someone doing something dumb and then gettin jumped on...

I mean dam, haven't been here since last year sometime, but felt a disturbance and a violation against DAWKINS... I gotta call Seth out for his clever but poorly placed THREAD JACK!!!

Come on now this thread should be for Dawk only, he was the best Safety the Eagles ever had, not only could he cover like a CB but he hit like a freight train. Defensive Co's had to game plan with him in mind... "He was also the heart and leader of the Jim Johnson Defense for a decade" ( was from Diddy I think on DNL but agree 100%)

and just my 2 cents he gets into the HoF...

So now move the who's the top 10 to it's own thread, OR maybe we should all meet up in the concourse and give each other nicknames...lol

Hey guys.. if this thread is to honor #20, we shouldn't go on about McRib, ok?

Dawkins is awesome. I wish he stayed here for a few more years. Hoping they put him in the HOF (pull a few strings, will you Jeff?) and retire his number.

And I'll remind you Randall played in an era where the SB champ was usually coming out of the NFC East or San Fran"

One of those two things happened literally every year during the last 10 years of Randall's tenure here.

The only consistent competition in the NFC from 2000-2009 was the 2000-2003 Rams and the 2006-2009 Saints.
