Week 1 Recap:

Stud Player(s) of the Week-
Willie Parker 26 pts, K. Collins 26 (Willie P rushes for over 160, TD and 48 rec yds. Collins throws up 3 TDs in a losing effort.)

Honorable mention-J Smith 25 pts (Who knew the Jac WR still had it in him? Obviously not Glenn because he benched him and those points sure would have helped. Doh!)

Dud Player of the Week- D Culpepper 0 pts (All the MVP talk along with the addition by subtraction commentary following the trade of Moss got you 3 INTS, 2 lost fumbles and a patridege in a pear tree.)

Dishonorable mention-B. Favre 2 pts (GB is in big trouble especially with his fav target Walker out for the year.)


A.W.O.T.W- Chinatown Cowbells (Uber just can't a break each year on week 1 either with injuries or just bad luck. Hooky is out to prove that he is the real deal this year with a 24 pt whuppin on his webmaster)

Dishonorable mention-
SkillzfromPhilly (When D Mcnabb only gives you a 10 spot its gonna be a long night.)


C.O.T.W- Darksiders (The King of Contrary pulls off a blockbuster trade and gets Priest Holmes while having LT AND Larry Johnson as his third back. Birddroppings will be a force to reckon with this season)

Coaching Blunders of the week- Rosenwhores(While there were no glaring bungles, I do question Johnsons use of Travis Henry who is a oft injured fumble machine. Could of used K. Johnson in the W/R spot.)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- Willie Parker 26 pts (InappropriateComets makes good use of the free agent/waiver wire pool and get a great pick up til Duce and Bettis get healthy.)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- M Moore 0 pts
(Hulksters pick up Moore thinking that the Vikings will loosen up the TB D with throws to Burleson and the running of Culpepper. No such luck, Tice is a bitch.)

In another league I had the Atl D and the guy I was playing had McNabb as his QB and my lead was around 5-6 points.... I'd hae rather lost the match-up... but a win is a win...

Last week there were a lot of upsets and suprises but this week we see the real teams starting to rise to the top.

Week 2 Recap:

Stud Player(s) of the Week-
D Mcnabb 41 pts (Skillz wins big this week and Wayne Brady redeems himself after being a dud last week. Too bad SFP couldn't have the whole Eagles team again.)

Honorable mentions-C. Palmer 29 pts (I don't know whats worst; having almost a 30 pt day and having to play second fiddle to someone else or being the owner of said QB and benching him.) *In Hooky's defense he had no way of knowing the Colts would decide to play like the Ravens this week.

Dud Player of the Week- Minn Defense -2 pts (Give up 37 pts and only could muster one sack. They played like a sack.....)

Dishonorable mention- M Bennett -1 (Staying with the theme of Minnyhaha sucking it up, Bennett runs for a disappointing 36 yds and fumbles twice. Oh yeah-Tice is a bitch.)


A.W.O.T.W- AnnArborArrogance (Glenn goes to the local watering hole and trys to hit on girls young enough to be his daughter to console himself on his 31 pt whuppin. Last years champ watches as his Deee-troit pussycats get destroyed by the hapless Bears to the tune of 38-6. In other news stock in Rumplemintz has gone up. )

Dishonorable mention-
Chinatown Cowbells 19 pt lost (Uber should stick to Mahjong or maybe collecting Hello Kittys)


C.O.T.W- InappropriateComets (Scored 118 points, supplanted the Darkside juggernaut and didn't even play T.J Hoozawazits who gained 19 pts on the bench. We might have found a team to give birddroppings a run for his money.)

Coaching Blunders of the week- Inked Up(Tattoo decides to use G Ferrote on the road againest the Jets while you had M Hasselbeck on your bench? You might have at least been able to pull out a tie. )

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- T Jones 26 pts (The Drunken Kennedys make a great pick up of Jones. Too bad its AFTER he had a big week. Lets see if he can reproduce those numbers while on the active roster)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- Detroit Defense
(BISC Shipbuilders pull a headscratcher by releasing Jones and picking up Detroits D who get waxed. It didn't cost you the win this week but it might come back to haunt you.)

0-2 and only 123 pts combined for the two weeks. I can see why you said that, but solace in the fact that GGB is 0-2 also.

Glenn you made me lose a bet. I said it would be hours before you snatched M Williams off the waiver wire. My buddy said a day or two.

Now there are only two unbeatens left. Can they maintain their dominance?

L Tomlinson 44 pts (Rushed for 3 TD's and threw a passing TD. But it wasn't enough for the Darkside to win. BD's once menacing Imperial death grip on the #1 spot has slipped.)

Honorable mentions- S. Alexander 38 pts (I don't know who mans the InappropriateComets ship, but if his RB production stays the same he is in for smooth sailing into the playoffs.)

Dud Player of the Week- NYG Defense -2 pts (For all those loud obnoxious New Yawkers who thought Eli was the second coming and thought they were going 3-0, LT gave them a rude awakening.)

Dishonorable mention- M Bennett 0 (When your #2 RB gets outrushed by Drew Bledsoe its time to cut bait. 4 rushing yds? He stinks.)


A.W.O.T.W- Inked Up (While Tattoo was at the bar eating wings, drinking beer and fondling hot waitresses breasts, his FF team was getting manhandled by Uber's Cowbells. I guess when you get free drinks and feels on hot blonds, 50 pt losses are easier to take.)

Dishonorable mention-
TheHulksters 26 pt lost (It was only a matter of time before the lack of WR production was gonna catch up with the team. Having Steve Smith score 33 pts for the opponent didn't help either.)


C.O.T.W- Buck o' Five (Don't let AirborneEagles slight frame, penchance for linking and statistics along with his right wing views fool you. Every year he has a good team and looks to get back to the finals like he did in the inaugural year of the 700 FFL.)

Coaching Blunders of the week- F-wood Brickhouses (C Palmer has been on fire lately and the Colts have determined to prove they are the Ravens. With P Manning giving you last than 15 pts two weeks combined it might be time to sit him.)
*Of course this will be the week he throws for 4 TD's

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- N Rackers (A great pick up off the waiver wire for the Drunken Kennedy. Talon picks ups a 40 pts kicker for nothing. He might help the tree huggers squeak a few close wins later in the year.)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- B Griese 15 pts
(Normally having a QB score 15 pts is a modest showing. But not when the QB you dropped scored 21 pts and is more consistent. In a headscratcher Birddroppings lets B. Roethlisberger go helping to solidify the Hulkster QB position when he was about to offer a trade for a QB.)
