Whatever helps you sleep at night. I beat you straight up in Week 1 and we have had 3 common opponents. You have already faced the big boys of Jerobi and Birddroppings which I will do in Week 9 and 11. Not seeing where I had the cakewalk schedule.

Not necessarily cakewalk for you, I am just saying it is ridiculous for me to be 0-7. Is it possible to show the week by week games and scores? I can't see it but this is my only Yahoo league so maybe I am missing something.

Well if you can go to yahoo fantasy on your name under league and click on matchup. It will show who you are playing againest this week. At the bottom of the page is Week 1-14 so you can see scores of weeks already played and whom you will play in upcoming weeks. Its not ridiculous, everyone you have faced has just beat you.
The champ gets everyones "A" game.

Hey, wait a minute now....The B-Houses were able to muster 68 points, not 36 against the Darksider's 104. Look, it's not worth a Butterfinger or anything, but maybe one (1) of those candy corns???

Ok, that did the trick. My points against are 764, yours are 521. Which means the average team I am facing each week is better than the best team. That's all I am saying. It's part of the game, at least it's happening in a free league.

Hooky that was how many points you lost by. Glenn we will look at SOS schedule when all is said and done but you took some real beatdowns. BD by himself had almost a 90 point margin of victory over you. So some of the losses you took may skew the numbers. I squeaked out 2-5 point wins over the same opponents that gave you double digit losses. But if makes you feel better than yes I got the easy schedule and you got the #1 seed/Championship schedule.

Or to put it another way: If you and I had played each other every week, I would have beaten you 4 out of 7 times.
Yet you sit with a 6-1 record and I am 0-7. THAT is what I am talking about.

Glenn, if it makes you feel any better, I am currently 0-7 in my other league, a league I've thoroughly dominated for the past two seasons. My points against are at least 100 points higher than any other team, and my points scored are better than half the other teams.
Of course, in both that league and the 700 FFL, no one is offering a shoulder to cry upon.
Stop acting like a Skins fan.

Welcome to the 700 FFL
Week 8 Recap:
Stud Player(s) of the Week-
A Gates 32 pts (145 yards 3 receiving TD's and putting a end to the question of who is the best TE in league right now.)
Honorable mentions- D. Brees 28 pts (Another Supercharger had a good week as Drew throws for over 300 yards and 3 TD's to his favorite target Gates the ex basketball player. )
Dud Player of the Week- Washington 0 pts (Can we just put the entire Washington team? Get scored on at will on Defense to the tune of 36 points and then shut out on the other end. Tiki run for over 200 yards. Big fat 0 for the whole squad. DTC seeks counseling.)
Dishonorable mention- TB Buc & NO Saints (I am sure I was not the only Fantasy owner burned by these two teams. The Bucs couln't score more than 10 againest the worst team in football. The Saints could only muster 2 field goals againest a terrible Miami team.)
A.W.O.T.W- BISC's Shipbuilders 45 pts (The once seaworthy SS BISC is taking on water fast and their hopes of making it to the playoffs are going down like an anchor. Hope there are no sharks out there.)
Dishonorable mention-
InappropriateComets 35 pts (Uber who has been the recipient of a few AW awards decides to give Jerobi a taste of his own medicine this week as he rings up the NY defense, Gates and his RB tandem to let him know whose clanking who.)
C.O.T.W- Ann Arbor Arrogance (The Big Blue machine finally gets on the snide and out of the cellar with their first win. Dom Capers and GGB both went out for drinks later that as both their teams got their first win under their belt. Hopefully they propel themselves with this win and hope to be back in the playoffs next year.)
Coaching Blunders of the week- TheHulksters (TheHulk_NJ did not follow his own admonition and check the injury report to see that A Hakim was not in the line up for week. He could have picked up another
WR to get him a few more points and make his loss look more respectable.)
Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- Oakland D 17 pts (If the league comes up with a Waiver Wire Wizard award Talon and his Drunken Kennedy crew win hands down because for three weeks running he has plucked surefire diamonds out of a sea of coal.)
Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- A Hakim 0 pts
(Againest the week Miami D at home Hakim should have put on a vest and ran amok on the secondary. Instead he cried like a little girl and his team got whupped.)
"About Friggin time!!"
T. Gonzalez fans abroad all popped champagne as Tony G FINALLY had a decent game. I'm sure I am not the only one who wasted a high pick on what was thought to be the best TE in football this year. Instead that distinction is placed upon Gates in SD.

I have to protest the Coaching Blunder and/or the Waiver Wire Blunder of the week... With my starting QB havinghis bye week I combed the wire to find a replacement for the week, So who did I choose?!? J.P. Losman, I had only known that he played well last year and won the starting job to begin the season, NOT doing the proper research I didn't know he had been benched in week 4, SO I went into this week with MY "starting" QB not even starting for his team...

Also in fairness to everyone I do I put myself on the recap for blunders or whuppins as to not appear bias. This is really starting to get to me (My sinking Ship)... I really came out of the draft this year thinking I was gonna kill you guys. Culpepper has completely killed me...I thought he was worthy of a first rounder...UGHHh this is a tough season for the Shipbuilders.
We play to win the game though...and we're not out of it yet.

OK, I am stepping up early to thank bd for ass whoopin he gave me this week, I realize my score wasn't doubled but what's one point...123 to 62 DAM... my ass is still sore from being taken out to the wood shed yesterday... I'll give your RB's a lot of credit LT and Huggies beat by themselves... 38 and 26 points respectively... I am beaten and broken this week...

Jerobi,
If there ever was such a thing as a stolen win it was last night. I went to bed thinking I had no shot at Brady getting close to thirty points in order for me to win. I just saw he threw for three tds. HOLY EFF!!!

Welcome to the 700 FFL
Week 9 Recap:
Stud Player(s) of the Week-
L Tomlinson 38 pts (107 yards 3 rushing TD's, 1 recieving TD and juked Ty Law out of his jock strap. LT is a virtual one man wrecking crew who pretty much single handedly helps BD win week after week. )
Honorable mentions- S. Alexander 29 pts (Another FF beast Alexander rushes for almost 175 yards and 2 TD's. )
Dud Player of the Week- TB Defense 0 pts (Two weeks in a row where the Tampa Bay defense which use to be a staple just came up small and got trounced by the Carolina Panthers.)
Dishonorable mention- H. Miller 1 pt(The sure handed #1 draft pick and waiver wire gold pick-up who was good for double digit points came up short this week. But then again when you have Charlie Batch throwing to you. There isn't much you can do.)
A.W.O.T.W- Inked Up 61 pts (The Inked Up crew doesn't get taken behind the wood shed but instead to the Darksider Tattoo Shop for a new sleeving. Now "Birddroppings Bitch" is proudly displayed among the other rebel art for all to see.)
Dishonorable mention-
Drunken Kennedys 35 pts (Skillz quickly halts Talons little win streak like the Kerry presidential campaign. There was no waiver wire magic this week that could overcome the consistent production of the SFP team.)
C.O.T.W- Rosenwhores (Don't let the slicked back used carsalesman hair-do or staged swimming pool rescues fool you! This team has quietly gone on a 3 game win streak and placed themselves in a position to be 2 games above .500 and make the playoffs. If they win a couple more games or the teams above them have a mini slump they could catapult into the top of the playoff seating. Be on the lookout!)
Coaching Blunders of the week- Ann Arbor Arrogance (Not sure if Glenn forgot his Buffalo D was on a bye or after being 1-7 just doesn't care but a defensive waiver wire pick up MIGHT have helped him get a win or at worst a tie. Now GGB's team is 1-8 and the once reveling of his demise has turned to condolement, as the once cocky and high scoring AAA squad are nothing more than a broken down shell of their former selves. Like a ex heavy weight champion he merely plays each week to try and regain some of last years luster.)
Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- B Johnson 15 pts (The Bisc Shipbuilders pick out the scrap heap just like Minnyhaha did and got Johnson to help get some points. Unfortunately for BISC it wasn't enough to overcome Hooky's F-wood Brickhouses who also made a shrewd move in getting D Staley. The ex-eagle came through with 13 pts and helped seal the win.)
Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- SD Def 3 pts
(Talons usually dead on waiver wire pick came up short this week as the SD Defense could only muster 3 pts for the waiver wizard.)
"The Build-up"
One more week before the clash of the top two seeds -Hulksters vs Darksiders. Stay tuned!!

Do you think I should have played Roy Williams this week?
It never ends...too bad I have no eagles, I'd bench them and we'd be in Detroit.

Welcome to the 700 FFL Late Edition
Week 10 Recap:
Stud Player(s) of the Week-
S Alexander 34 pts (165 yards 3 rushing TD's for the scoring machine from Latteland. He and LT just trade spots each week.)
Honorable mentions- P. Manning 29 pts (The object of EAG's affections threw for almost 300 yards 3 TD's and no turnovers. Now only if he would do shirtless shoulder presses in his driveway then the infatuation could be complete.)
Dud Player of the Week- Skins Defense -2 pts (It was the vaunted defense of the non pc mascot crew that allowed a 2nd year schlub like Simms come back and score on them. The Alstott 2 pt conversion was just desserts.)
Dishonorable mention- D. Mcnabb 12 pt(Yes, I know he finally decided to run a little. Yes, I know he got a rushing TD and threw for 170 yds. But if that INT to Roy Williams wasn't one of the all time kick in the penis jobs I don't know what is.)
A.W.O.T.W- SkillzFromPhilly 46 pts (You think you had a bad week? Try having D Mcnabb as your #1 QB on your Fantasy team and watch him throw a backbreaking INT two weeks in a row, lose money on the game and get crushed in your fantasy match up. Thats the kinda week Skillz had. Only thing missing is for his girlfriend to dump him and his dog to bite him. Hope I don't jinx him.)
C.O.T.W- F-wood Brickhouses (Hooky puts his players in a better position this week and goes on a two game win streak. The Brickhouses with their win is now 2 games above .500 mark, in fifth place and for now secured a spot in the playoffs. Can he keep it up?)
Coaching Blunders of the week- TheHulksters (TheHulksters picked up Adrian Peterson for back up help and knew the SF porous rush defense was prime for the picking. The 18 pts demolishing of the 49ers would have secured a victory and the #1 spot in the league. Instead Hulk made the blunder of relying on rookie R. Brown to come up big at home under the lights of Monday night. Instead he crumbled and dropped the ball knocking the Big Green Homer Machine down to third place.)
Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- S Gado 28 pts (No one is sure how the hell your pronounce his last name but Johnson doesn't care because that 28 pts help the Rosenwhores beat the #2 team and extend his winstreak to 4. Johnson is out to prove the media and the people are wrong about his intentions.
Next question.......)
Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- M Bennett 0 pts
(Birdroppings once potent RB barrage of LT, Priest and LJ has lost some of its bite with the bye week for Tomlinson and Holmes on the IR. BD was reduced to skimming the waiver wire looking for cream to rise to the top instead all he was left with was chaff.)
"Battle at the Bottom of the Barrel"
Tattoo's Inked Up and Glenn's AAA battled it to see who would dwell in the cellar of the league. After a long and hard fought battle GGB was able to show the world that he had the second suckiest squad in the league and not the first.
"Revenge of The Pissed"
Its the HulksHomers vs the Darksiders to see who is finally right about Andy Reid, D. Mcnabb, politics and which Star Wars Episode is the best. *Its A New Hope*)
